DO NOT HIRE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LEFT WITH A HEFT REPAIR BILL TO CORRECT DAMAGE THEY CAUSE!…read moreWe hired closet by design to do a built-in cabinet with floating shelves on either side of our fireplace. They didn't install according to the design. The first shelf was suppose to begin 16" from the top of the mantle. There was then suppose to be 12" between each shelf and 16" from the top shelf to the ceiling. They installed the first shelf 4" above the mantle making the completed project look awful. In addition, the floating shelves were suppose to extended wall to wall. There was gaps on either side between the shelves and the wall. The bracket they used to hang the shelves couldn't hold the weight of the shelf itself and so the put brackets at the front end of each shelf. Despite this, the shelves were already sloping down without anything on them. Their solution was to cut two inches off the depth of the shelf to decrease the weight and build a case around the shelf to achieve the floating shelf look. Despite cutting 2" off the shelves, the bracket still couldn't support the weight. We told them to take the shelves and issue a refund. The installers "patched" the many holes in the wall. We were told they would cover the cost of repair. They then went back on their word (after we had the drywall repair underway) and told us they would not reimburse us for cost of repair. The manager we had been working, who told us they would reimburse us for cost of repair, no longer works there and the new manager said that was a miscommunication and they would not reimburse us. Our house is brand new, we were doing this project to enhance our home. Instead, they sold us a system that didn't work (installers told us this is a new product for them and the brackets aren't designed for shelves of this size), damaged our walls and left us with an 874 dollar repair bill to restore our home. In general, the quality of the products is not worth the cost, even if its installed properly.

They did a great job. The second time I had given them a 1 hour time limit and was a bit concerned at the job done. I emailed and they told me that they respected the time limit I had imposed and had to make calls on the most important parts to clean. I knew I had left serious clutter behind and I appreciated the honesty and the priority of not charging me more than I had agreed to pay. We came to an agreement for extra time if needed, and the next time they came I did a better job of picking up clutter and the place looked great. That would be enough for a five star review, but it got better. I recently broke both wrists and, understandably, am having trouble cleaning. I sent them a detailed list and an apology for the clutter. They have come twice now and have done an amazing job. They made the bed the way I asked, they even folded the clothes! They spent the time on the places I asked, and I think went above and beyond expectations. I've had places that just don't clean things and it has been really frustrating. This company respects the money I am spending by not going over the allotted time and was honest about the job, and while not rude at all, made sure I knew that the clutter was a major factor. I appreciate the frankness and their commitment to meet my requests, the top one being how much I was ok to spend. I've finally found my cleaning service in Seattle.

So the sponge to clean your sink was used at someone else's house before yours. There are maga racist employee working there that made fun of an Asian client saying "I hope we don't get it wrong" this company is not sanitary, they hired people all the time so you always have a new stranger in your house. The employees use their own phones for navigation so your house is in their phone with your house code. They pay poorly, one employee there 20 years and paid minimum wage. Definitely don't hire them, not sanitary, not safe. This is my own personal account of working there and this is all true information. Sponges used on toilet used in kitchen.

He had to say goodbye to living in the only home he and my mother (who has passed), owned. Purchased in the early 1970s. Also the only physical location I knew as "home" growing up. Fast forward to present, a year later. The house still has not gone on the market due to life happening. With the birth of our first child, I found myself overwhelmed as I walked through my parents house. It was aging, and cluttered with 40+ years of memories and, well, clutter. Why all the backstory? Because anyone can come into a strangers home and throw things out, or donate them. But Linda came recommended for a reason. She walked into our home with a felt sense of honoring the memories that existed there. Everything she touched and inquired about was intentional, with purpose and respect. She engaged the memories with us and lent a firmly gentle hand on some items that were best to let go of, knowing it was hard to do so. The topper for me was how she engaged my father who wrestles with memory loss. She never responded to him with anything other that complete respect. As I drove dad from the house his response was: "She really is an outstanding woman, so professional, organized, and nice." I can not recommended Uncluttered and Linda enough. She made the overwhelming manageable.

You have found the PERFECT owner and team to help you with one of life's most stressful situations... moving my elderly parents. I get very anxious with unknown people helping my parents with anything. Laura and her team felt precise, honest, fast, and thorough. They helped my parents with a major downsize and move after 10 years in one place, and I truly can't imagine how we would have managed it without her. I felt very, very, very comfortable around her and her Organizing Specialists, who took delicate, intentional care with my parents, their art, and the special things handed down from family. My Dad had an incredibly cluttered "man cave" that even my Mom couldn't get in. One of Laura's specialists was able to deal with my Dad's prickly erratic intense vibe and completely organized and packed up his room!!!! They even managed huge drawer chests and a huge couch with total grace and precision. On top of that, they took things to storage also coordinated donations of a ton of big and small things that could benefit others. Thru even cleaned some items that were going to donate. Laura's Organizing Specialists were amazing and she had a good moving crew. What could have been an overwhelming and emotional experience felt seamless, thoughtful, and completely under control!!! If you're facing a move, especially one involving downsizing with 80 year old humans please yourself a favor and work with Laura and the team at Eliminate Chaos. THE BEST! Thank you!

This pleasure would turn out to be quite misguided, and I am frustrated to say that all we received for our $3,000 was connections to the auto shipping and moving companies - both of whom we would then have to deal with directly ourselves for all of the details. My dissatisfaction with Laura's company began with something fairly innocuous - we were urged to send over a file as quickly as possible, and so I sent them a link to a Google Sheet document that they could download and save to their desktop as an Excel file. Imagine my surprise to receive an email (that I am sure I was charged for time on) directly from Laura saying "we do not use Google in our office". My ire continued to grow when the first moving estimate we received from the Eliminate Chaos team was for a PODS rental and delivery after I had specifically noted that I have a piano we need moved, and that I was not comfortable with sending that in a POD. Moreover, when we asked for the estimates to be sent as PDF attachments (and it is very easy to print an email to PDF and send), we again received an email directly from Laura (and again, I am sure we were charged for her time here) including phrasing such as "before [employee] spends more time on your project, it would be helpful to have you clarify specifically how you'd like this information presented." We had specified. We wanted separate PDF attachments. She pushed back again with "None of the quotes we've received have come via a PDF". Again, it is incredibly simple to click print to PDF on an email. In that same email thread, Laura said she would provide an estimate for packing services "sometime next week". This was on March 25. On April 8 (two weeks later), I emailed Laura to ask about the estimate, as we had not yet received it and in fact had already paid over $2,000 for their services. Her response was like a Dickens novel - clearly getting paid by the word - for a long-winded note that amounted to "I haven't done it yet and need another week. It'd be cheaper to have the movers do it." As a result, I told her that we would have the movers do it and did not need an estimate. Of course there was one more invoice to come - resulting from the email back and forth - bringing our grand total of expenses paid to Eliminate Chaos to just over $3,000. And as I said above, what we got out amounted to nothing more than a connection to the auto transport company and the moving company. Laura would argue her team came and did a walk-through of the house, taking pictures and preparing an initial inventory, and that is true...but it is also true that we had to heavily edit her inventory sheet and then repeat the entire process with the moving company for their final non-binding estimate. Would I use Eliminate Chaos again or recommend it to a friend? 0 out of 10. The only thing they eliminated was thousands of dollars from my bank account that would have been better used to cover closing costs on a new home.
