Today's breakfast was great as usual and the portions are well sized and attractively priced; especially considering the location. In the summer the location has a great outside terrace with ample seating on lounge chairs, benches and deckchairs. For dinner their steaks are great; grilled on a charcoal grill and served on a wooden plank. Beer and wine selection is good. Prices are moderate and the place is frequented by a hip crowd.

Excellent. My fish was presented "whole" and called "dorade" or sea bream. So well prepared: simple and firm. It came with local vegetables and some french fries. We checked out the menu, and I have to be honest (being a student) the prices scared me a bit! They quickly redeemed themselves though, cause the portions you get here are amazingly royal. My friend had the Italian lemon cake and I had the carrot cake. Both of us struggled to finish these, but we did because it was too tasty to waste! Other than the cake, we both had a hot chocolate with whipped cream. They came in huge glasses, filled with actual warm milk and having to stir the chocolate yourself. What made it more delicious was that the chocolate was actual Tony's Chocolonely :). They also have a lovely garden where you can sit, but sadly Dutch summer kind of ruined the opportunity for us to do that today. Perhaps in the next review, if the weather allows! One of our friend's visiting from the US is named Alexander, so it was even more awesome. After a long day at the Keukenhof gardens, we decided to drive to the beach to show them what a Dutch beach looks like, so this was totally spontaneous. They sat us immediately, moved the big umbrella so we weren't baking in the sun (even though most Dutch love that). This is a beautiful beach club. The inside is wonderful and the bathroom, although small, is very modern and clean. We only had a few borrel items. It's not your typical bar food though. The bitterballen was only 2 per order, so not cheap. They were good though. You will need to reach out to get them to your table, don't be shy, give them a little wave or quiet "pardon" when they walk by. They forgot to bring me a glass of wine I ordered, but I didn't really need it anyway, so when we noticed they billed it for us after we paid by card, they immediately went inside and returned with cash to refund us. Such good friendly service. Noordwijk is beautiful and classy, so this beachclub didn't disappoint. It was a great first impression to my friends.
