They cook them to perfection with a slight crispy skin. The sauces are tasty and not heavy. I had a side of a baked potato and rice. The rice got a really nice aroma and the potato was moist and baked just right. I discover this place via a few friends who had been raving about this place. It didn't turn me off that it was in Noord. In fact I was happy to have a reason to go. But it's not super close to the ferry so I suggest bringing your bike. A free festival is always appreciated and I think, for that, you paid more for what's inside. The muntjes (tokens aka "coins") are plastic coins... Much different than the other kind you see at other festivals. Since you can't have a half-token here, they are a bit cheaper at $1.25 (in 2016). But the real food (burgers, ribs, etc) are average 5-7 tokens. The vibe is interesting. Not as exciting but more relaxing. The amount of seating is nice which I feel is usually lacking. It's a smaller festival than Rollende Keukens and smaller than Food Festival Amsterdam. But it still has a nice variety of favorites and new ones we haven't discovered yet. Mr. Brasa had delicious ribs (5stars) with an Asian flavor. Pork Carnitas from Let's Salsa were simply amazing. And the Biological Poffertjes are a favorite of mine but always take forever! Oh and there was a Barber on site! 10 euros for my husband a haircut is the best deal of the festival! I didn't like the location, but it was a nice change for the weekend.
