Den Bosch's only little brown cafe. I don't know how old IDKK actually is, but you get a similar feeling that you do in many old cafes around the Netherlands: rustic furniture, eclectic decorations, simple but good selection of drinks and food. As soon as you walk through the door off the busy street, you feel transported to a quieter place (at least at lunchtime -- the live music equipment suggested a different vibe at night). The whole place is decorated with a mix of antique crosses and icons.
The beer selection was better than most, and the service friendly. We had a beef rendang sandwich and a selection of bar snacks (bitterballen and cheese sticks), and everything was great. Whole bill for that and a couple of premium beers was less than 25€. Great deal. I'd definitely go back. read more
