With ALAT 7715, ASAT 4006 I had to wait for a non-Hepatitis test results to come back first, before he decided to test my blood for Hep. A. (A huisartsen post had to call me on Sunday to literally check if I am alive.)
In addition to that, after several months of a positive recovery trend, he commented a sudden rise of the liver function blood markers as "the curation goes well". I had to insist on referencing me to a gastroenterologist. It all ended with a biopsy of my liver...
Those two fails of Dr Stinissen do make an impression that there is some lack of expertise on diagnostics of and recovery process from a highly infectious desease like Hepatitis A.
