The 3rd course was a pairing of a white fish with a seared tuna over sauteed fresh spinach - amazing! The meat course was another duet, this time of venison and wild boar both wrapped in bacon. They were served with Belgian mash and au grautin potatoes and a Waldorf salad. All so good that I didn't have an appetite for dessert! The service was as excellent as the food. Tip: I had some friends disliking their fries because they usually serve it with Belgian mayo, which is a sour version of the sweet Dutch fry sauce I like. So ask for fry sauce instead of the Belgian mayo. Way more sweeter rather than sour, and less fat I can say.

The fries were slightly crispy on the outside and really soft on the inside. It is different than the ones from Vleminckx in Amsterdam; those are crispier overall. If you prefer your fries soft on the inside with a bit of crunch, this is your place. If you prefer really crunchy fries, I recommend Vleminckx.
