Bought an LED kit for my 2010 GLK350 and 2011 Prius. Off and running smoothly as of now. Bulbs and everything seems of good quality.

The products work well but the girl upfront isn't the best. Either way I still recommend these products to ask my buddies and family.

I am a woman and they ripped me off every way to Sunday! I bought the lights at Vista, they installed them at Vista and when the lights failed as in quit working completely, (the high beams NEVER worked by the way), they will not make it good or stand behind their products. Not only would they not make it good by allowing me to return them they also would not even give me a credit of any kind towards an upgrade even. They are nasty, nasty people to deal with and once they have your money you can kiss it goodbye because you'll never get any resolution when their lights fail. Don't be "that guy" that buys a $15 eBay kit looking like an idiot on the road when one side goes out a month later. Stop by DDM and pickup a high quality and high performing kit. I only trust DDM with HID replacements on my Audi. Never had a single issue with them. Sure you're going to spend a good chunk of money; my kit was $120, but you can feel and see the quality. read more

I recently contacted DDM Tuning in Vista California about lighting for my wife's car who's headlight bulb recently burnt out. I talked to a gentleman named Carlos who helped me out tremendously! He had great customer service and explained to me everything in detail and made me feel comfortable talking to him like I was talking to a friend that I've had for many years. He wasn't pushy and was just trying to help out and give his best advice and opinion to make it easier for me to get the best product for our vehicle. I went ahead and got the LED Saber Pro headlight bulbs. I highly recommend them my wife says that they're like night and day when she drives. She normally wear glasses for her vision when driving especially at night and in the early mornings and this has completely changed up that way she can see and I will definitely be buying more of this product when my other car headlight bulbs go out. Ordered parts from their online store which said shipped from location in the united state didn't know Main Land China was a part of the United States so after waiting 3+ weeks for something that was to take a couple days I received my order which was missing parts contacted them about the missing parts received a dismissive email that package was delivered to my apartment emailed them to say that the box the sent could not have held all the parts I ordered no response thank God i used PayPal filed a PayPal dispute 3 weeks later I get a email say yes my order hadn't went thru their system correctly and if i'd like for them to send me my missing parts I told them no i had already sourced the part else where just send me a refund for the missing parts. But Oh no they want me to send them everything back to get a refund what a bunch of incompetent people and from reading these reviews I should have done a little more research... read more

I have been a long-standing customer of DDM tuning's online store dating back to May of 2010. Over the time since my first purchase, I made 3 separate orders. Of these 3 orders, I have had product failure issues with almost every one- As best I can tell, management has changed at least once, and it seems like employee retention is very low- I've dealt with someone new every time.. When I call to speak with a rep about the issues I'm experiencing (after attempting to go through their online tech support/warranty forms), I have been treated like someone who knows nothing about cars/electronics and challenged on my assessment of failed products. Even managers seem to act the same way with no knowledge of their client base. I have even been denied warranty replacement even though I had "proven beyond a reasonable doubt" that the products were bad (HID bulbs, HID ballasts, HID relay harness). Each time I call to get an issue taken care of I feel like I'm pulling teeth!! DDM requires that you "test" your HIDs against left/right to verify that what you think is bad, actually is bad. Not an awful idea, however unless you plan to hook the headlights up BEFORE you do any installation work to verify that you didn't receive a dud, you may as well buy 2 sets up front. With my most recent set that was purchased for a gift (much like other items I've purchased from them), I ended up having a bad bulb in one side and a bad ballast in the other; I was told to check the equipment against known good equipment from past purchases that they have record of. To do this, I had to track down the other vehicle that I installed the prior gift on, remove one headlight set from the vehicle, and then test it against the new installation! This is bogus! Now that you've spent an extra 4+ hours troubleshooting your equipment, they want you to pay to mail your failed product back to them so they can further verify that your product is bad (I interpret this to mean they don't trust the customer at all). Why did I just troubleshoot this and prove what was bad only to have to pay more to have DDM re-verify what I've already discovered? My most recent experience with them was with Leif B. (One of their customer service/warranty managers). I spoke with him in great length about the troubles I had been having with DDM products, and he ensured me that this was not the norm for products of theirs. Leif also assured me that he would be able to turn my RMA/return around in 24 hours after receipt of the failed parts, and he would look into something to try and compensate me for my troubles and horrible experiences in past with them. OK, fine- I'll send it back. I had to call and remind Leif of the promises he had made them to get them started on the inspection (after 24 hours had passed and I heard nothing) and it took 3 days to ship out. Furthermore, the only concession he could make to me regarding the awful service/quality was to ship me the matching bulb to my busted HID; $7.50 worth. I've had 4+ bad HID sets on different occasions, horrid customer service, slow and overpriced shipping, and nothing but trouble and the best they can do is delay my last shipment and give me a free bulb. Awesome customer service, guys.. Their prices are great, but I can only imagine that the phrase "you get what you pay for" is in full effect here- You don't pay much for their stuff, so you won't get much in the way of product reliability (even with NEW stuff!), customer service, or accountability. You WILL however pay an arm and a leg for shipping. Last package was drop-shipped directly from China / China Post, took 2+ weeks to get to me, and they charged me almost $20! Package contained only one set of headlights and a wiring harness which was smaller in both size and weight than a half of a loaf of bread. Unless you're willing to risk a bad set of HIDs on your first shot, I'd order two of whatever you are purchasing. If you don't want to order 2 sets, then I'd run from this place like the plague! Customer service is awful, there is no accountability or focus on "making it right", prices on shipping are high, product quality is awful, and they just don't care! You'll spend as much on a set of HIDs from these guys after all the time/effort and extra shipping charges or extra sets of HIDs that you've purchased as you would have just buying an OEM equivalent or high-grade HID system from a reputable retailer to start. I will NOT be a returning customer, and if I am able to sway others I will not hesitate to do so. STAY AWAY! read more
