Our initial meeting was great; we learned a lot about Leora, her family and her experience as a professional officiant. We received our draft script soon after meeting her. The script was a great start, but my fiancé and I made some modifications to the script and sent these modifications back to Leora for her review. Leora then informed us of the following: "I read through your draft several times and appreciate the additions you made to the script to reflect your values and beliefs. Unfortunately, my beliefs and values don't align, therefore I don't believe I'm the best fit for you. " Best wishes, Leora We are all entitled to make our own decisions and I don't fault Leora for making hers. However, while Leora appears to offer a very inclusive environment for all couples, I can say that this does not appear to be the case for ALL interfaith couples. I would advise interfaith couples to look elsewhere or ask A LOT of questions up front to ensure that your beliefs align with the "belief and values" of this professional. Cheers...

Brandon was more than awesome with fitting us in! He had no trouble with our date, time or place. Additionally, we weren't sure how we wanted to include our 2 year old son in the ceremony but knew we wanted to, and Brandon surprised us with a sand ceremony that was beautiful. Not only that, but he made the ceremony flow seamlessly, especially without any type of rehearsal. Our family kept telling us how great he was all through dinner. I guess I didn't respond in a time that was convenient for her? The messages that followed seemed really pushy and a bit rude. I said that I no longer needed the services and she called me "Stupid." Personally, I had to do what's right for myself and the energy wasn't right so I didn't want to book. It's as simple as that and my decision should have been respected as a customer. Glad I followed my gut because I know officiants can't legally charge more than $50 for the service but this company quoted me $100 for some obscure travel fees. Edit: I added a screen shot of her calling and two angry voicemails later...threatening to sue me if I don't take down my review. Personally, I'm not even mad or upset. I'm happy I didn't book her and I want others to be able to make well-informed decisions based on my truth. That's the beauty of all this.
