However I can speak to the excessive bundles of shingles that were ordered at my expense. Approximately 3 weeks after the roofs were installed I went to both properties and discovered a pallet consisting roughly of 20 bundles of unused shingles in the driveway at both properties. The bundles were too heavy for me to move and I had hire someone to place the unused bundles of shingles into one of the at the time vacant properties. I contacted Chris the owner and advised him of the situation. He subsequently went to the property where the shingles were stored and agreed it was an excessive amount and agreed to return the shingles where purchased and refund me the cost since I actually paid for them. That was in March 2021 to this date I have not heard from Chris nor have I received a refund for the returned shingles. Of course the shingles were purchased at my expense and as such I should have received the refunded amount. No doubt the shingles cost several hundred dollars that should have been refunded to me, one because it would have been the right thing to do and secondly because Chris said he would. His failure to do so speaks to his lack of integrity, deception and poor customer service. I almost contracted with him to do another more costly roof but after several months of not hearing back from him regarding the promised refund I contracted with a more reputable company, no excess materials and excellent customer service. Keep an eye on him and make sure you get what you pay for, better yet don't hire Britt & Britt!

Richard Locklear present himself as a sincere, trustworthy person; however, Richard Locklear does not follow thru on commitments. Richard Locklear committed to replace the foundation of my rental property (which was damaged due to moisture and I guess termites) and Richard committed to be on site for the work. Richard started the work project however was rarely onsite. Once the work started, Richard's work crew kept changing each week and his crew was not conscientious about the work. Richard was only concerned about being paid. Richard lied on the last day that he had made requested fixes and that he would returned to fix anything that was identified later as a result of their work. Once Richard got his last payment, Richard told me nothing but lies until he stop answering his phone and Richard never return to stand behind his work. Richard left my property with the majority of the electrical outlets not working, the main ductwork to HVAC permanently damage, bathroom with no register in floor for heat, and multiply other items in need of repair. Richard is not ethical person.
