They now play with other dogs, which I never thought I'd see! They come home so happy and now when I ask them "Wanna go to daycare?!" They run for the door. The floors in the dog area are heated and they can choose when to go out or in. The staff keeps me updated on how they're doing all the time. I was in Cuba and they even emailed me a photo of them. What kennel can you think of that would do that?!?! As soon as we go into the daycare all 3 of there tails start wagging and they instantly forget about me and run to the staff!! HAHA!!! I can't praise this place enough. Even if you live in Edmonton and its a little out of your way it's so very worth it. Changed my pugs completely, plus it's nice after daycare having them pooped out! The danger of "just browsing," of course, is that you'll eventually find a pet you can't resist. Got a new kitty just before Christmas who has totally won my heart - they feature pets from the Edmonton Humane Society, which is great. They also have special adoption weekends with LOTS of critters to beg to come home with you. If you do adopt, be sure to get one of their free packets (for cats and dogs) that are full of coupons for special deals, even a free bag of food. Speaking of food, who would have imagined that dog or cat food could take up aisles and aisles, and then more aisles! Never knew there were so many choices - you're sure to find what is exactly right for your best friend here, be it puppy or fish or gerbil. You can even bring your pet to the store and let them pick out their favourite! They might even get a surprise treat at check-out time :-)

I took my Toy Fox Terrier dog into "Fabulous" Furballs today and had a NOT so fabulous experiance. They took her into back room where I could not see what was happening and at one point I heard her squeal like she was being abused. When they brought her out to me, the groomer acted as if nothing was wrong, that my dog had just been acting "over dramatic". It was only after paying and leaving that I saw that her paws were BLEEDING and nails BUTCHERED. Not only had they cut past the quick of her nail on SIX of her nails (which if you are a pet owner you will know is VERY painful), but my dog also had a gash on the pad of her paw that was gushing blood. I am livid! She currently CAN NOT walk on her paw where they gashed the pad and is hobbling around the house. Who knows how long this will take to heal?? To not even acknowledge from the beginning the mistake that they made and pretend as though nothing was wrong DISGUSTS me. I consider that not only torchure but cruelty to animals. Please please for the sake of your pet DO NOT bring them in there. I only hope this review prevents this from happening to someone elses pet in the future. The only reason there is one star on this review is because I can not have zero or negative stars.

So I decided to pull my puppy out of her training classes before it even started; after which, she decided to call me and tell me what a mistake I had made for doing so! And that my puppy would turn out to be a badly behaved dog because I decided not to go through with her classes. It was ridiculous! I listened to her little rant about what a bad pet owner I must be (for pulling out of her class), politely got off the phone as soon as, and then knew I had done the right thing.

She stated that she only did half inch clips on all long haired dogs. We wanted 1 inch- nope she wouldn't do it. We decided to pull our dog out of her grooming operation. She refused to let the puppy go! After a heated exchange with my husband she released the little prisoner to my custody. She then proceeded to tell us we were not being realistic and that 1/2 inch is the only way to responsibly groom a long haired dog. She called my husband some very bad names and told us we'd be sorry. I was sorry to see her act like that- but I'm happy we pulled out.
