This company should be avoided. It presents itself as a purveyor of high-end lighting products, selling at a premium price, with a US presence and a "satisfaction guaranteed" returns policy. In my personal experience, they bat 0.000. I purchased three lighting fixtures that looked very nice on their website. I checked the returns policy and it reads that if, for any reason, you do not like the product they will provide a refund. I went ahead and purchased using PayPal, a mistake I would later regret. (Strike 1) The fixtures arrived and I scheduled my electrician to install them. Upon opening the boxes, it was clear that the construction was poor quality, the wiring was not consistent with US code, and in his considered opinion I had overpaid. (Strike 2) I respect my electrician and certainly do not want to install something that could put my home and my family at risk of injury by fire. I contacted the company by email (that is the only option, red flag) and began a week-long email exchange about returns. They presented an objection for every request. I felt like I was at a reverse auction, trying to get a refund and being offered 20%, then 40%, of my purchase price to "drop it." I quoted their policy to them and requested a return address and a full refund. They politely replied (and I'm paraphrasing), "No." (Strike 3) I opened a dispute with PayPal, and they offered a 75% refund, and I could keep the fixtures or give them away... they clearly did not want them back. I decided to cut my losses and accepted the offer. However when they paid, they reduced the refund by 10%. Since I used PayPal -- unlike having the protection of a credit card company -- I have no further recourse other than to share this review and hope to save others from an unpleasant experience. In summary: - The company is based in China, with a "US" looking storefront, but has no US presence. - The products are cheaply made and possibly are a fire hazard. - Customer service is hard to reach, email is the only option. While polite, they are also not very helpful. - The customer service representatives are not transparent. They appear to adjust their returns policy is (apparently written in pencil) at their whim. Dazuma Lighting sells nice items. I recently ordered a nice pillar outdoor lamp. However, I have not been able to track my order yet. They do not make it easier for customers to track orders because they make customers download the app to shopping and to track. I tried to track my order this way, but I did not find a way to do it. I do not recommend DAZUMA light fixtures. The product I received was extremely flimsy and does not comply with California state electrical/building codes. My licensed contractor refused to install it on my house due to noncompliance, which says everything. When I attempted to return the item, the company refused to provide return shipping and insisted it must be sent back only in their original oversized box or they would not accept the return. The box is unnecessarily large, making return shipping outrageously expensive--costing nearly as much as the product itself. This feels intentionally designed to prevent returns. Between the poor quality, failure to meet California code, and unfair return practices, this company operates in a way that feels deceptive and predatory. Buyers should be extremely cautious, especially if you live in California or plan to use a licensed contractor. Save yourself the headache and buy from a reputable lighting company that stands behind its products and follows the law. read more

Long shipping delays, multiple shipments....all damaged Ordered several (expensive....total over $2k) solar lights in May '24. Partial delivery 6 weeks later and product was damaged. The company promptly responded and processed a replacement order (which arrived another 6 weeks later). They also told me the remainder of my order was never shipped and they would have to re-process it. 7 weeks later, that product also arrived damaged. This company has logistics issues. They didn't even realize they never sent the second part of my shipment until I told them. But even worse, is the shipping packaging. They do not use any packing materials to protect the product. All of my lights came with zero packing materials, the lights were just put in a box and it was taped and shipped. Not surprising that every product I received in different shipments were all damaged. The biggest problem with this is the shipping time is a minimum of 6 weeks and since they don't use packing protection, chances are high that any replacement will arrive damaged.....6 weeks later. Also to note, the products themselves are not engineered very well. The quality is not great. They look great, but are flimsy and not the best quality which was a surprise given they are very expensive. My experience with the company was that they were responsive. They shipped new products and provided a credit for some of the others that were damaged. So, I feel like they resolved the issue, but what a waste of time. It is so difficult and evrything is in their favor they actually decide if I can get a refund after paying all kind of costs. Fortunately for me it came broken. I ordered a "Waterproof Glass Luminous Moon Lunar Art Decor Modern Ground Lawn Lamp" It was meant to be a gift to a client who hired me for a very expensive outdoor light job. It took 6 weeks to get and in no way matched the description. It is not waterproof (or anything close), it is not glass, and definitely not the moon or anything resembling the moon. More like they blew chunks at a layer of wet plastic on a balloon. I gave it to my client anyway as it is a folly to be mounted in an obscure woodsy corner on her property. We had a good laugh at the lack of "anatomical" correctness and she has a wonderful sense of humor at such nonsense. And clearly, not a listed light fixture and no abiding electrician would install. I have tried to contact their "customer service" - it took a while. They sent me a video file of some other fixture assembly and offered 15% refund for defects on all three parts! I am not taking it. Poor Quality I suggest that any one want to buy any Solar lights from this company to think twice before doing so. I bought a pair of Outdoor Courtyard Waterproof LED Solar Pillar Lights Landscape Lighting 16 X 16 X 6 on February 17, 2023. By December, one of the solar battery pack became very weak and only lasted for less than two hours. I had to change the battery pack and couple months later had to change the other one. I can't tell you how disappointed with this company. I had a professional electrician install 8 post led lights at significant expense less than a month ago at my home. What they advertised was not complete nor accurate. I received the product in poor condition with no instructions/manual and the remote control is in chinese. I have contacted them over email 10 times with them replying not answering any of my questions or complaints. It took 2 months and several demands, including a stop payment thru AmEx for them to be finally shipped from China.
