The DC Farmer's Co-Op for animal and ranching needs plus a True Value Hardware for all your home needs. I normally just get things for the home but they have straw for planting and irrigation equipment that could be used as well. This is a well stocked store but they can't keep everything that Home Depot has but they might have that special item that you can't find anywhere else. I highly recommend DC Farmer's Coop/True Value! I'm sure I will be back...sometimes, many times in one day looking for a specific item that is needed. I appreciate they are our local store!!

I went in looking for a tape measure only to find out the measurements I was about to take with said tape measure could be cut and threaded right here in Glendale! No need to drive to grants pass Home Depot! Went back to the job site and got the measurements I needed. Brought back the 1" black iron I needed to be cut and threaded. Jamie was happy to cut them and thread them for me while I waited and browsed. I was even lucky enough to find out he had a short stick of 3/4", just enough for what I needed! And yes. It turns out they have a great selection of liquor. Glendale is small. It's downtown is a few blocks. Naturally they would have a combined hardware/liquor store. DON'T expect to find the selection a Home Depot would have. DON'T expect them have power tools or equipment to rent or sell. (But you may be able to find out who does locally by asking the person at the desk DO expect them to have a good selection of basic home improvement materials for the average DYI home improvement person. DO expect them to have hunting/fishing stuff, ammunition as well, but no pellets or bb's. DO expect them to be friendly, helpful and warm!
