Oof! This place is straight up bad. I came here with a large group and they were extremely disappointed. We'd had a reservation so it's not like they weren't expecting our group and it was wing night. The whole bar was packed full of people and they were completely understaffed. I want to add a caveat that this negative review is in NO WAY a reflection of our server. She was running back and forth all night and looked exhausted. It is not her fault that there weren't nearly enough servers on that night. It took forever to even place our orders let alone to receive them. To summarize the rest of the issues: 1) we were prepared to order many more drinks than we did but when you don't have enough staff scheduled and the servers have no time to go back to tables, we go home thirsty and you lose business. 2) if you're going to offer a huge list of wing flavours, there needs to be a better way to differentiate which is which. Even the staff didn't know which wings they were bringing out. 3) don't forget about the one vegetarian meal. Everyone got their food before I did and I wasn't able to mooch bites of anyone else's plates. It took so long that I ended up taking my meal to-go at the end of the night. It was comped so I can't complain too much but I definitely would have preferred to eat at the restaurant. Also? Get rid of the tacky conservative memes in the bathrooms. Even if this had been a 5-star experience, that would be enough for me to choose another venue next time I'm in town. read more

It's always a pleasure going to Dayz Off. Jeff sure adds to the experience of being there. He is always looking to improve the food items on the menu, and he is very open for suggestions. I live in this city and used to come to this pub a lot, as it has a patio even though there's a busy thoroughfare right next to the pub. I'll get straight to my point for this review, the food used to taste better at this place, and this isn't the first time I've come to this conclusion. Who doesn't like home cut fries????? Anybody who has ever had real home made fries will never say McCain fries or any store bought fries are better, and to me not having home made fries tells me how little effort is actually placed on having good wholesome items on any menu ....or am I wrong ? I know that the minimum wage increase has put a lot of extra stress on any pub to make money, but come on it's no secret that good food will bring customers back, and for the most part most people will pay a bit more for good food and good service. If a pub charges me a lot for below average to average food I get annoyed and start thinking why am I even coming back here. This in no way reflects on the wait staff as they can only do so much and most times the service is awesome. I have no idea what goes on in the kitchen either, I'm sure they, the kitchen staff has their hands tied as well to a certain point. The long and the short of it is this, if your an owner on any business it's your " JOB " to ensure people are satisfied with " YOUR " establishment, and it's your job to do whatever it takes to make that happen. That said or posted, I like this place, it's big, has a lot of TV's if you want to watch a sporting event and again the waitstaff is awesome, but the food part could be better. I don't consider this a negative review, more a hint to maybe get better food, I really don't like posting negative posts or comments for any business as we the customer have no idea what goes on behind the scenes or how much effort is put in any aspects of this or any other business, but me being a customer if I feel like I was just at a fast food place well that kinda irks me a bit, that being said I will say once again, I like this pub even though the food is at best average, and I apologize in advance if I offended anyone. read more

Neighborhood sports bar with decent food. Has tv screens, slots, video games, darts, pool tables. Big space so is roomy. Clubhouse was triple decker and very good. Garden salad was excellent. Seating is a little dated. A decent selection of beer on tap. Very reasonable prices make this place a winner. And they serve food late. read more

Overpriced low-quality food. way too many old people but I guess if you're old then this is a bar for you. you can just walk down the street and find a better bar or just go to Burger King for better food. read more

We have not been disappointed by the food. The frozen paralyzers are great also.

Dayzoff Pub is great place. The Saturday breakfast is the best in town and a good price. Ask for crispy bacon and rye toast. The staff is really good too. Lots of room to sit and lean back and drink lots of coffee. Lots of TV screens too. Al gray read more

I have only been here twice. The first time was great but does not excuse the second time. We waited for a 3/4 of an hour just to get our mozza stick starters and an additional 20 minutes for our main course (my burger was overcooked to the point of being tasteless and dry and my parents batter on the fish and chips was undercooked) and only had the waitress come up to us once in that whole time to refill our drinks despite looking at us multiple times and seeing us looking at her to get our drinks refilled. Will not go back as I was late to get back to work because it took so long to get my food. I will also add the bar had 5 tables full inside. Not near busy enough to excuse this poor service. read more

I come here during my lunch hour with some coworkers and we can order, eat and still be back on time. Food portions are great for how much you pay. A wrap and the broccoli cheese soup is my go to here. read more
