The owner, forgive me that I forgot her name, was so polite and professional the whole time during our stay. It wasn't a 5 star hotel, but she made sure we got treated like it was. They do have complimentary breakfast in the morning. They also have a break water in the back which leads to Corpus Christi Bay. The room was decent in size. It had a fridge and a working ac unit. There are a few restaurants within walking distance if you're hungry. The best thing is the view of the USS Lexington right in front, which is a must to check out when you're in town. If I am ever back in the area, I will be more than happy to stay here again. Loved it, and probably will again!!

Clean Room (the housekeeping department is not part of the problem) Shabby stained carpet, no patio furniture, balcony, air conditioner and trim degrading. The pool area also needs a makeover and the bar was blasting really loud music on a weekday evening trying to grasp of a 'club' atmosphere that it just doesn't have. The location is nice, and I think maybe if it was a little less expensive I wouldn't feel so taken advantage of although our room did come with a coupon for Pete's coffee in the lobby and that definitely helped All in all, I'm not sure there is a better choice in the area however I hate to see once lovely places falling apart and I do hope that this gets an update.

Unfortunately, our suite did not reflect the level of quality I expected for the price we paid over the Fourth of July weekend. The room was clean, but it showed extensive signs of age and deferred maintenance. Throughout the suite we noticed chipped and scratched furniture, worn upholstery, torn lamp shades, cracked bathroom tile, frayed carpet, deteriorating caulk and trim, stained surfaces, mineral buildup on bathroom fixtures, and several areas that appeared to have been overlooked during routine maintenance and detailed cleaning. While none of these issues alone would have been a major concern, together they made the suite feel tired rather than luxurious. What disappointed me most was not one specific problem, but the overall impression. When you're paying premium rates, you expect a room that feels well cared for and meticulously maintained. Instead, it felt like many small issues had accumulated over time without being addressed. I sincerely hope management invests in updating and refreshing the guest rooms because this property has incredible potential. The waterfront location, views, and staff deserve accommodations that match the quality of the rest of the experience.
