Worst stay of all time. Everything was dirty, the carpets, there was mildew everywhere. No one wanted to take a shower. But our son took a bath because he was under the influence (He's 43 years old btw), which at the time we were unaware. We don't claim to be parents of the year, but you needed to be high to get in that tub. The hallways smelled terrible. The breakfast was bread and muffins. No elevator. Junk everywhere around the outside of the hotel - BIG NEGATIVE ONE! The outdoor pool was closed, with no explanation. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It should be shut down. I don't normally write reviews, but no other family should go through this. The beds are archaic and the air quality made my entire family sick. The stench was that of Oscar the Grouch meeting Beatle Juice and having a party in a 4-year-old peanut butter jar (with the lid missing). If you want to roll the dice, go ahead and stay here, just have your immunizations done. And if you currently have COVID, bring it on, because they don't give a rip.

Stains on the curtains, blacked out windows with plywood behind them. Where the windows should be.

So disappointed! My girls and I traveled from RI to go to Hershy Park for the weekend. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived on the property and checked in we were told that the room I had booked was not available. I was told that they had given that room to some homeless people and they could upgrade me to a king bed room. My daughters are 18 and autistic and 15. The last thing they wanted was to be in the same bed as their mom. At this point I was tired so I just said fine. We got our stuff and headed to the room. As the elevator opened, there was no carpet on the floor, just cement, Looked like they were in the middle of renovations. That I could live with. We then opened the door to the room. It was filthy. The bathroom was gross, the curtains were stained and some of the "windows" had plywood painted black. The refrigerator was not clean, and the room smelled of mold. The homeless were paying 60 a night, I paid 129. Sorry but it was definitely not worth that. In the morning there were little muffins wrapped in plastic. My daughter has allergies and the front staff was unable to tell me what the muffins were. I have never had an experience like this.

They're even more spacious than they seem in the photos. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I guess it's old Victorian decor. They have flat screens in all the rooms and just huge comfy beds. Awesome fluffy pillows and everything you could want in a place. It's worth the extra couple of dollars to not have to stay at the travel dump. It's within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants, Lebanon Valley College, a small movie theater and the Annville library (a favorite place for me as a kid). It's a few miles outside of Hershey and I'd highly recommend it as a place to stay if you're looking to come into the area for whatever reason. Amber, the innkeeper was fabulous. She took great care of us and anticipated our needs. She set out umbrellas for us to use when the weather seemed rainy and answered all of our questions. Great conversation, lovely garden in the back with a koi pond. The breakfast was solid. I took some pictures, check em out. There was also a baked grapefruit, something I never had but was really impressed with. And don't sleep on the banana nut muffin. It looks like it's out of a boxed recipe but that was easily one of the top 5 muffins I've had my whole life. My wife loved the place so much that I can guarantee we'll be back all the way from California. :)

Our two night stay at The Patriot House was perhaps our best overall B&B experience we have had. The experience started with Elizabeth (resident manager and everything else)...she was warm, engaging, friendly and attentive and on top of all details...we really couldn't ask for anything more. The house has been nicely upgraded and decorated and kept in very good condition. Room was large and comfortable and grounds were beautiful. And breakfasts both days were delicious as Elizabeth took extra care to make sure the menu choice was acceptable to her guests. Annville is small so anything in town is within easy walking distance and Hershey, Harrisburg and the other "burgs" are only short beautiful drives. Our first time in PA. Was very nice to find a great place to add to our overall great experience here.

It was the worst hotel we ever been to. Our door to our room was a safety hazard (would not close easily and when you tried to enter the room you had to pretty much body slam the door to get it open). God forbid there is a fire you would never get out. The owner was drinking and very confrontational and used nasty language to my husband. He told us we were not following policy because my husband did not have his shirt on outside in the back of the hotel, so my husband went in and put a shirt on and complied to his demand that we were not following policy so we asked for a copy of the policies and he got confrontational and said they don't have a list and said we were to leave the hotel. It may be the only hotel in Myerstown, Pa but I would recommend going somewhere else.

When I entered the room their was giant cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and gaint stains on the floor. We asked for another room, and it was the same as the first. This reminder me of a horror show. The place smell like a combination of fish, mildew, cigerates. What topped it off for me was the toliet had black stains on it, and it was disgusting. The next morning we supposed to get a contential breakfast( if that what you would call it). The breakfast was as horrible as the place they had bread, some fruit, cereal, and package mini pastries. They did have orange juice but it was frozen. Their was a waffle machine and a batter machine, but it didn't work. I was so glad to get out of the Rodeway Inn. I will absolutely not be returning to this place ever; unless you want a horror show experience.

During COVID, we liked that our room had its own exterior door & that we could eat breakfast in our room. Our room was beautiful & decorated in floral lavender. The bed was comfortable & the fireplace made it very cozy during a very cold & snowy weekend. The inn & grounds were also gorgeous & well kept. We would like to be able to explore more of the inn's common areas when we return post COVID. We LOVED the breakfast. It was unique and absolutely delicious! The blueberry breakfast cake is something you should not miss! We also took advantage of the couple's massage at the in-house spa. It was professional, relaxing, & exceptionally well done. Karen & her family are friendly inn keepers & we look forward to our next getaway with them!

The one we booked apparently had "maintenance issues", so we were placed in another room that we really weren't happy with. While it was functionally fine, it looked like it was straight out of a Golden Girls episode, and really wasn't what we wanted at all. We checked the refrigerator in the room and discovered that the previous occupant's leftovers were still there. There was also a dirty sock under the bed. Not even way under, I just bent down and saw it. It was also $25 cheaper than the room we booked, but we weren't refunded the difference. We really should've been informed beforehand that the room we booked wasn't available so we could make other plans. At the very least, we should've been refunded the difference between the room we booked and the one we ended up with. On to breakfast.... Unfortunately, it was nothing memorable. Fruit, a small cup of eggs and ham that my husband said tasted odd. French toast that was doused in sugary strawberry syrup. After we left we got breakfast at a diner nearby, which we DID enjoy. So overall, not a great experience. I think we would have enjoyed our stay a whole lot more if we'd actually been able to stay in the room we booked, but as it stands now, we probably won't be going back to the Berry Patch.
