Carpet is filthy, visible dirt all along the baseboard. Food and chip crumbs in the chair cushion. Outdoor lights are left off at night, I left early in the morning and fell off last step because I couldn't see it. There seemed to be a lot of people coming in and out during the night. Office has a door that has to buzz you in during day and night, like the security door on apartment buildings. So let's see, no lights at night makes it hard for law enforcement to see what's going on, security door on front office 24 hours a day, dirty rooms and people coming and going all night. Immediately upon arriving I noticed how this place DID NOT look as it did in the pictures online! It was disgusting, filthy broken vending machines, hundreds of dead flies in main office and desk help was RUDE. I IMMEDIATELY requested to cancel my reservation and get my money back, he said he could not refund me... We left amd drove an hour to another hotel the Baymont in Texas. Pet friendly!! DOG FRIENDLY! (I have a pitbull!!) Just checked in past 11 pm, kinda late.. I didn't think I was going to find anything but suddenly, in Eric, Oklahoma I finally found a days inn! I was exhausted, starving and grumpy several stores were out of power along the way. Service was still surprisingly polite and prompt. The price was fair and we got a discount because of no cable. This is a family run establishment and the effort they are putting into rebuilding and repairs shows. Maintenance was there working even at the late hour. The room was clean and there was a nice microwave and fridge. Awesome because I was starving. There is a continental breakfast in the am and really close to highway. Fine by me. read more

Having looked at the reviews before I opened the door I was legit sacred of what I was going to find. $90 seems a bit much for a Days INN. We paid 60 two states over for a near identical room. This place doesn't even have a pool like the other one did. I'm honestly not sure we what I'm paying for. The room is clean, the bed is soft, the bathroom has some interesting construction... but functions by its definition.. Meh, overpriced for what it is. read more

I'm going rate this Days Inn 2 stars all things considered. I was charged $70.00 to stay here. Mind you the "oil boom" the other Yelper mentioned has died down a bit. If you have a pet, and I did, they charge an additional $10 per pet. My dog is a certified service animal, so he was free. Make sure you bring your service animal license, cause they need to see that in order to wave the charge. There are two levels to this location, and I stayed on the main floor. There is a funky smell in my room, and there was a leak in the bathroom where repairs had started, but were incomplete. The front end manager ~ Kevin, seemed nice enough and was both kind and pleasant. I probably could have changed to another room because of the smell, but it wasn't so bad that I had to bother him for it. Had I asked, I'm sure he would have changed me to somewhere else. Sheets were clean and fresh. Didn't use the tv or the coffee machine - just the mini fridge. There is also a microwave, and a decent sized shower. Free Internet is available; get the code from the manager. I would have given them 3 stars had they finished the repairs before renting me the room, as there were others available. And they were charging a bit too much for the condition of the units. Definitely not a one star place, but for sure, there is room for improvement. The room phone went off at 9:30AM, and I heard other phones go off at the same time. I called the office and Kevin said he didn't know why the phone went off. 15 minutes later, room service showed up and just opened the door without knocking, so, make sure your chain is on. Stay here... Sure. If its late, not a bad crash place. If its early enough, try and make it to Amarillo, TX and stay at the Drury Inn & Suites. They are pet friendly and the units are well kept. 7/14/2013 I agree with the other reviews, this place is a major ripoff. The motel was, maybe, in its best days a $49.95 motel that is now definitely in need of a major overhaul. I found it hard to believe that they were asking $100 / night for a room at a Days Inn because I have stayed at many Days Inn motels in the past for 1/2 this price but, I had been driving for 14 hours, it was very late, I was very tired and felt it would be unwise to drive any farther. The room I stayed in had a mildew odor about it, the floor boards were loose and squeaked with nearly every step and I think the air conditioner needed a new compressor or maybe a coolant recharge because it didn't cool very well. Then, after tossing, turning and sweating my way through the night, I walked to the office to take advantage of the free breakfast. The meager continental breakfast consisted of a few packaged pastries, a bowl of cereal, coffee, juice and/or milk. The breakfast area is located next to the checkin counter in a space that measures about 5 feet by 10 feet, had no tables and no chairs so the only way to sit down for this breakfast feast was to gather it up and take it back to the room where you can have the wonderful experience of trying to unlock a door with both hands full of coffee, milk, cereal and pastries. Conclusion: Do not stay here unless you are absolutely too tired to drive another 15 - 20 minutes. It's only 23 miles on to Shamrock, TX if you are traveling West and only 16 miles on to Sayre, OK if you are traveling East. The rooms at either of these places will most likely cost less and be much more accommodating than this dump. read more

Yeah.... no... for $99 a night for two guests and a dog? The sink was falling off the wall, the bathroom floor was dirty, the walls were gross. We stay in a LOT of Days Inn, this one was the worst. If you are looking for a good high speed internet connection, this is NOT the place to stay in. This place gotta be one of the worst place to use the wifi. If I could give it a zero star I would. It looks decent from the outside but what a mess this place is. First off the room they gave us was a mess, I think someone was living in there. The 2nd room they gave the key didn't work. The second key didn't work. 4 trips to the front desk before we even get in the room. The floor was dirty. Looked like it had never been vacuumed. The comforter had cigarette burn holes. The shower and bathroom area was clean. The toilet was loose. When you sit down be careful not to fall off. The ice machine was broken. The continental breakfast was a joke. Unless you like Little Debbie snacks. Couldn't wait to get out of this place!! read more

The rooms are a little over price for not having a hot tub or pool. Once you walk into the office it smells like mothballs. The room is clean bathroom is clean, you only get shampoo and bar soap no conditioner or lotion. The room smells a little not for sure why . The air conditioning unit makes a lot of noise. TV is ok no HBO Showtime. The bed has clean sheets, bedspread, the bed is comfortable. You need to ask for the Wi-Fi code they don't give it to you. Nothing really special about that place. The Wi-Fi is really slow. With the major freeway next-door with the vehicles especially the trucks going over the bridge it sounds like a base.
