I specifically chose Dr. Sharp for my first visit and full body skin examination because she was a woman. I was looking for a kind and knowledge building discussion and exam. From almost the beginning, she dismissed most of what I asked about. She rushed through the exam and didn't explain much to me, just prescribed a vitamin E cream to "use on everything." I made the appointment because I'm 53 and noticed several changes to my skin that she all said was "normal" but I needed more than that. I needed to understand what was happening, the possible reasons why, what I might be doing to contribute to it, how to treat, and what to expect in the future. I'm not sure I've ever been more disappointed after a medical appointment. The best part was standing vulnerably in a paper gown with someone so cold and dismissive. Can't remember the last time I left a review anywhere but this visit warranted it. What a waste of my time. If I give this practice another chance, it will NOT be with her.
