This past weekend, in Broken Bow and the food is always better than the normal concession stand. AND...they do on occasion, make donuts...just like my Grandmother used to make in times past. Much better than any bakery donut you may have had. There was chicken noodle soup this weekend, not exactly my personal fav, but apparently very good according to the huge fan base. I like the veg/beef stew. Was just like we make at home. Also other goodies we all enjoy, to be had. Fair prices and very good food. Nothing to not like about that. Thanks folks. Well crafted coffee, friendly service, and pretty quick considering we ordered two lattes each. That's a lot of steaming. Prices were reasonable too. It was pretty quiet at 6 am but there was a table of silver-haired gentlemen sipping coffee and chatting, and there was local art on the walls. It seemed like this was a good place for the community. The food menu and baked goods looked good as well, though we didn't partake. This spot far exceeded my expectations for a tiny little town in rural Kansas. Five stars for that. In a bigger city with more coffee options this review might not be a full 5 stars, but Good Grounds is a standout in its region.
