Giving days warning often does not insure getting needed prescriptions. In fact they have already decided it is not their fault when they don't communicate properly from staff to doctor to CVS. They even blamed CVS. When they fax 2 prescriptions frequently only one is available. I thought It might be CVS until a gentleman in the office says it happens to him all the time. They say its not my fault every time but whose fault is it? Me ? CVS? This situation creates anger on both side. Who could tolerate this.

He didn't read my medical chart... at all. I fell off a cliff.. I am permanently disabled.. and he didn't read my chart. I said I fell off a cliff.. he said "what do you mean by that?" Are you JOKING? I had FMLA paperwork I NEEDED to get in by September 16th. It was turned in the 17th... incorrectly. My HR had to call me to discuss it & insist it be re-done. Dr. Sutton is never in office nor responds. He hadn't read my chart to even fill out the paperwork. I had HAND WRITTEN an extensive list of reasons why I was requesting FMLA. He didn't read it. HF Medical is now saying he has until 10 days shy of a month later to get it done.. severely and substantially affecting my livelihood. There is no expectations for Dr. Sutton to do his job correctly. There is no accountability by Harper's Ferry Medical Center. DO NOT GO HERE IF HE IS YOUR ONLY OPTION AS A DOCTOR. DO NOT TRUST HIM TO CARE ABOUT YOU. DO NOT EXPECT HARPERS FERRY MEDICAL CENTER TO HOLD THEIR STAFF ACCOUNTABLE. I have cancelled all continued care through them despite being permanently disabled. I will never get care again in this state if that's what I have to do to avoid a man who never should've (&I'm convinced didn't) graduate & get a degree from accessing my medical files or having ANY say in my medical care. Dr. Sutton is NOT fit to be a doctor & Harpers Ferry Medical is not who you should trust to care about your health.. physical NOR mental.. DEFINITELY not mental. He has been taking care of our medical problems with appropriate prescription drugs. He has timely referred me to consult surgical specialist different times which needed surgical intervention. Also referred both of us at different times to University Cardiologist for consultations. All the Surgeons, Physicians, Nurses and other medical personnel we met have high regards for Dr Shakesprere. His office is clean, spacy and well organized. His staff are polite and very efficient. I am a retired MD.

She began to berate me, repeatedly stating that the doctor does not write scripts for pain medicine or psych meds. I told her 3 times I do not take any medications and did not want any pain or psych meds. This did not stop her tirade. All I needed was an order to have a blood test repeated. I work as an ER nurse and people who act like this, without listening to what the patient is actually there for, give us all a bad name.
