Home Spa is a massage business that operates in Champaign's Marketplace Mall. They have a storefront location (currently in the old bookstore location next to Sears, at the time of this review) and generally have a kiosk/booth in the west wing of the building as well.
They offer 10 minute chair massages (and other lengths of time, incrementing in five minutes) at both locations, and also offer foot and table massages at their storefront. If you don't want to bother with making an appointment at one of the expensive massage therapy places in town, they are a great, hassle-free, affordable alternative if you've got a sore back or neck and aren't shy about other mall patrons seeing you treat yourself to a session. (Despite it being called a "Spa," it is not a locker room and sauna style facility and customers do not disrobe to any degree, except for possibly their shoes).
The massage style is firm and generous, though it is in a different style than the therapy you receive from an LMT appointment in town. I've received many chair massages from various employees at Day Spa and have always left relaxed and energized. Though they may see if you're interested in one of their more expensive massages, there really is no "upselling" pressure and every one of them is friendly and hard-working.
These are not masseuses with a battery of certificates and degrees like you will find at a massage therapy center, but they put their all into each customer and do just as good for me as the pricier places, plus their shorter times and walk-in availability suit my schedule and budget far better.
