The chicken with green beans in black bean sauce was absolutely delicious. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they forgot to bring out our rice and noodles, and when they did the chicken fried rice had about six pieces of shredded chicken and seem to be missing soy sauce. The Manchurian noodles we're pretty good but I certainly had higher expectations Overall I would say this place is excellent and I will definitely be coming back. Be warned parking is a nightmare

There was no wait for our party of 4, but the restaurant was busy with lots of energy around 9pm. We were seated in a corner booth and had a nice view of the restaurant. There is also a small grocery area at the front, with Japanese favorites and some prepared foods to go. There was a nice selection of sushi, noodles, and meats, which we had some of each. I had a prime Rib and Angus skewers and both were excellent, but the magic sauce was the best on the angus. I had a bite of the tonkotsu ramen and the broth was bold, but not too heavy. Lastly, I had the bluefin tuna roll, which was a good size and so fresh, you could taste it. The blend of ingredients in this roll hit the spot. The service was great and we were in and out in under an hour.

In terms of food, I tried their Bluefin Tuna Roll, Creamy Scallop Roll, Chef's Choice Sashimi, Gyu Tan and Hotate Yakitoris. Overall, I'd give the food 8/10 - Bluefin Tuna Roll: 7.8/10: Real bluefin tuna, but overall reminds me of an avocado roll with bits of tuna, and not worth it - Creamy Scallop Roll: 7.5/10: Good flavour, but expected more like chop chop roll, especially given the price (else it's a California roll with scallop on top) - Chef's Choice Sashimi: 8.5/10: Good pieces of fresh sashimi - Gyu Tan Yakitori: 8.3/10: Good, slightly overpriced given the portion - Hotate Yakitori: 7.5/10: Nicely grilled but overpriced

This is a good alternative if live NW. We tried this place for our first time and the service is amazing their staff is extremely friendly you can tell she cares about the customers as she comes checks up on you every so often and when she hands you anything she uses two hands with a polite smile on her face, this customer service was what really stood out to me. The food is ok. The side dishes might not be what you were expecting because the potato's are not the garlic potatoes but they are Montreal steak spice potatoes which are still good but not the traditional one. They don't charge extra for side dishes which is great because I do like their bean sprout side dish. They charge $2 for extra rice which is fine and makes sense Overall this isn't the best Korean bbq place I've been to but it's not the worse. It's ok but I gave it higher rating because of the service.

We happened to arrive during their "happy hour" so we got some "linner" prices. Hubs ordered the house special tossed noodle. He liked it cuz he felt it was authentic. He liked the fried garlic that added an extra kick. I had the bbq roast duck noodle soup cuz I was wanting some comfort food. I was impressed with the roast duck that was not fatty and the little bit of onion helped accent the flavor of the soup. Hubs especially the duck sauce which he thought was strong but once you get used to it he said it brought out the flavor of the duck. The service and ambiance was your typical chinese restaurant. Nothing great, nothing bad, nothing to be expected. I would definitely come back if I was in the area and craving chinese food.
