Tim Carpenter was my Mortgage Loan Originator at Wright-Patt Credit Union e. The initial contact was amenable. He told me what I would need, and I provide the information on the same day. After that things went downhill. He was very slow to respond. When he replied he did not answer the question I asked him. He did not call the listing agent or the buyers agent in a timely way. He asked me to provide him the same document repeatedly. He made mistakes in the closing documents because he did not read his emails thoroughly, so he did not have current information. An easy straight forward mortgage took three months to complete. I called and left messages, he did not respond for many days. When I was finally fed up with his service, I called and emailed his supervisor Bill Brogan, Loan Account Executive @ Union Savings Bank President, he never called me back. I did get a mortgage but the experience was so stressful that I will never use them again.

My parents and I are college educated, well traveled and my dad and I were just trying to get documents after my mom passed away. I was scammed out of $134 due to a Shopify website that doesn't even exist charging me for child care with an IP address of a European country. I think it was Greece? My daughter is 27 years old. They said the product was delivered to my home. What exactly was it? Nothing ever arrived at my home and I disputed it for over 3 months with no resolution from you all. Why would I order child care from a website that doesn't exist in a European country when I have no children? Even the email address wasn't in my inbox anywhere for any receipt for any orders. This Bank used to be extremely good and then over the last several years it has gone downhill dramatically. When I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney general's office, I suddenly got a phone call from the Kettering branch and they were going to reverse the charge so that I had my money back. Not only did they not reverse it, but they took double the money out. So now they owed me $268 instead of 134. Then she said "no, I did that wrong Let me fix it and It should be in your account tomorrow." The next day came and it was not. I morning, took a couple hours off of work and drove to Kettering to speak to her myself and she said it was still pending on the back side but that it should be in there by the next morning. Again, it was not. They did nothing but lie to me and waste my time. How can I trust them with the safety of the little money that I do make? They protected a scammer instead of their client of 15 years. Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this Bank. I know I won't anymore. And I'm making it my mission to tell everybody I ever meet in the area where these Banks are. I teach senior citizens to avoid scams for a living. Guess what First Financial Bank?
