My old office of over 15 years, Thomas eye Group told me they had no appointments available on a Friday afternoon at 2:15 until Monday afternoon at three. Even though I had sudden multiple floaters in one eye. They told me to go to the emergency room if it got worse. I called Dawson Eye Group and they told me to immediately come over because this could be an emergency situation. Thankfully, it was not a retinal detachment. I'm so impressed with this office! I felt truly cared for by Dr Kelly Dasinger as well as the ladies at the front desk and the nurses! I'll never go anywhere else!!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Coded my yearly exam as medical and all future appointments as such. Ridiculous! I've been predisposed to glaucoma from my mother but no change to my eyes at all. Never had an eye doctor code my yearly exam to medical. They get more money and no discount from my insurance so it's a win-win for them. Do not waste your time and money. So slimy. read more

The doctors here are very knowledgeable and really care about their patients. They use up to date equipment for exams. I have not had any problems scheduling appointments. I am not super picky about appointment time, and I have never had to wait very long to be seen. The team is very friendly and accommodating. My children have seen both doctors and both are great! They don't rush us when picking out glasses and give really good options to choose from. We also use contacts and if we don't like them after awhile they will give us trials until we find one we like. The people at this office are very personable and caring. Had the same contact prescription for 20 years before I visited this office for the first time where the doctor insisted that we change my diameter and prescription strength, although I've never had any issue with the size/strength I had over the 20+years prior. They sold me an off brand that can't be found online which they said I'd have to order through their office - which shows they are profiting off the sale - which explains their insistence on me purchasing that (poor) brand. When my previous run of contacts finished and I started the new kind they dried my eyes out and gave me blurred vision and headaches so I couldn't use them. When I called the office to address the poor quality and to inquire about why the doctor changed the diameter and strength after no issues over the previous 20 years the office manager mocked and laughed at me over the phone, claimed to have never heard of the brand I've used for the last 2 decades, and stated that I'll have to come back in for another adjustment checkup to fix the prescription because they couldn't alter it without another exam - causing me to lose valuable time/money at work to rectify their poor practices. On my return visit to get my rx fixed back to normal, they tried to give me the incorrect size AGAIN without even seeing the doctor...immediately after we had discussed changing it back - they were just hoping I wouldn't notice and they could sell me more incorrectly fitted lenses for a 2nd time - with the doctor doing everything in his power to keep me in a rx/size they could sell me during the consultation. Wasted time, wasted money, and a very poor customer experience when I had an issue. Stay away. read more

I'd give 6 stars if I could. First of all, their staff is so nice. I went there to get fitted for contacts for the first time and they took their time teaching me how to put them in, listening to which ones felt best, etc. Not to mention you can literally text with them?! SO. CONVENIENT. We are still working through which contacts are going to be best for me but truly I have never been to any sort of office (medical, eye, etc) that's this amazing. read more
