I have been treated with acupuncture since I was 14 (so for 26 years) and I've lived in multiple countries and had several different holistic doctors over the years. (As well as traditional ones.) I have a M.Sc. and a PhD and I'm one of those moms that is very thorough when it comes to anything related to my health or that of my family. Irrespective of curricula and experience, a Traditional Chinese Doctor may or may not have the gift of feeling the points and understanding your body in a holistic way. That's a talent one is born with and Dr. D. Eisenman at Holistic Primary Care certainly has that gift. He is extremely knowledgeable as well, and his expertise and knowledge never cease to amaze me -- from every little muscle in your body to physiological and infectious processes, you name it, he is very studied and solid. He combines Thai massage trigger points with Chinese medicine and many other techniques. But going beyond that he has the ability to combine variables and understand what is going on in holistic way. I call him our miracle maker. He can fix whatever problem you have, even when you (or your traditional doctor) do not know what it is. He treats me since I moved to Miami -- for a boost in my defenses, for migraine, for back pain, for the flu every other Dr told you you'll have to be in bed for a week, for exhaustion after a business trip marathon, for thyroid issues, and I could go on and on. He also treats both my kids (8 and 12) and got my son's recurring lung infections to stop and helped my daughter get rid of a calcium deposit (Sever's disease) so that she could do sports again. Without antibiotics. Without albuterol for Asthma. Without cortisone or steroids. Several of my family members were treated here: for high blood pressure, to minimize the effects of Hashimoto's, for their lower back pain due to a damaged disc. Some of them are the type of person that would never go to a holistic doctor, and yet, they felt so much better that they kept going. There's so much I'm thankful for, that I have been delaying writing this review for two years to make sure I do not forget anything. But this is still only a 10% of the issues he has solved for us over the years. He is the best kept secret in Miami Beach. If you think that there is something better to be done about your health and that you deserve more than an Rx prescription mitigating symptoms instead of fixing the cause of whatever is ailing you, you should make an appointment.

Hi Everyone! My name is Bev in Clearwater & I am gratefully writing a review for Dr. Cheryl…read moreMitchell, PT. Having previously worked directly with Cheryl on a specialized Rehab Team in our area providing care to multi-complex patients, I had already experienced her caring, calm demeanor, & expert professionalism in assessing what each individual needed, along with her ability to motivate & encourage patients to achieve recovery beyond their expectations. THEN, this past July 2024 I was diagnosed with lumbar spine injuries & contacted "Dr. Cheryl" for my own care! Over the course of 18 sessions, she performed as always, efficiently & effectively, in helping me to outline practical goals following her extensive evaluation of my strengths & weaknesses. Each session we progressed together through the incremental, necessary steps to approximate & achieve each goal, modifying exercises as necessary. At all times I knew exactly why we were completing each exercise & what would be the desired outcome as I persisted, not just in our 1 to 1 focused sessions, but inclusive of my daily Home Exercise Program that I began to follow on my own at home with the clear video internet instructions she customized for me. My results by early October when I "graduated" were nothing short of astounding! I was able to return to all daily activities & resume walking and rowing as before which was part of my weekly routine for exercising. I became STRONGER THAN I WAS BEFORE, & gained additional correction of a hip rotation from a prior car accident, as well as improving my gait, balance, & co-ordination, thereby decreasing risk of further injuries, or a fall. This was due to Dr. Cheryl's amazing gift of looking at a person as a whole in determining how every part of our body impacts total function, & her ability to exponentially achieve better than expected outcomes for her patients because of her excellent intuitive & clinical skills of observation & ongoing analysis. It is December 13th, & I am now still continuing my home exercises, understanding the importance of making this outstanding regimen a key element in staying strong as an active Senior. Thank You My Wonderful Colleague & Friend, Bev B.
