They also have soap vending machines and change machine. They have games to play and a food and drink vending machine. The best thing I think about this laundromat is the fact that it look like it was out of the old movie. You could do your laundry and right outside the window kids were riding their bikes, people were waking the dogs, people were laughing, etc. and then the beautiful view of the old buildings across the way was just the icing on the cake.

I went during the day and the two guys working were going on about a group of people in there again causing problems. They kept talking, saying they were dirty and come in a group like they want to take over the place. How bad it was for business and they were afraid they would scare away the good customers. Then they said it, they're black, not just black but foreigners. "Cant even speak good English, or at least pretend not to understand" Went on some more about " taking over, bad for business, and so on." I guess since I'm white they thought it was okay to spew their vile, hateful nonsense in front of me. News flash, not every white person in Danville is a racist. So if you think not mixing your whites with your colors applies to more than just laundry, this might be your kinda place. As for me, I will not be going back.

I found this out on the numerous times I've had to use their washers. If you open the lid after it fills, feel the water and it's icy cold. Complain to the owner and he'll tell you it's the wrong time of day or maybe you really just thought you paid for hot! This place is a total ripoff. The dryers eat quarters like a lion eats steak. They just can't get enough. Must be someone is turning the temp down in the back. Just sayin'. The tv is always some annoying channel. I've used the front loaders ,too, and the clothes come out dirty and as if they hadn't even gotten wet. they were actually as dry as when they went in. They had a smell as if they'd not been washed, too. Take my advice and steer clear of Laundry Works & Ultra Tanning!

Her quilts are simply too large for our home equipment, so she decided to give this modern laundromat a try. When we arrived, there were plenty of parking spaces near the entrance which made it easy to transport our load of material. I was impressed by the overall cleanliness and how bright and colorful it was. I've seen way too many laundries that were dark and dingy, so finding a spacious location with plenty of seating and machines which appeared to be in great working order an eye opening experience for me. If you aren't a regular who understands the system, you can ask at the main office (near the entrance for help) MY wife was told to pick which washers and dryers she wished to use and to go ahead and load the washers. Each machine is numbered, so remember those numbers for when you are ready to start. (Note you need to bring your own soap and supplies since only some of the machines come loaded with those. Back at the kiosk, you can prepay with coins, currency, or cards. Once paid, you push another button to start the washing. I suggest you have all your laundry loaded into the washers before heading to the kiosk so that you don't have to leave the kiosk until you have made all your selections. We went on a weekday morning and there was no line so my wife got immediate assistance and she found the machines were plenty large enough to easily handle her quilts. The machines are large and sturdy, so when they went into spin cycle, what would have caused a deafening racket at our home was relatively quiet. The end result was that my wife's quilt came out clean and dry and didn't take all day to accomplish. As long as my wife keeps quilting, I can see returning here as a customer. Review #3946
