Hello foodies, today I bring you an impressive review for this Pakistani BBQ restaurant . Dawat - E -khas is located off Williams's Pkwy and Chingcousy rd. in a plaza on Pertosa Dr. There is plenty of parking in the plaza and very easy to find. Now when it comes to Pakistani BBQ I have not been to many restaurants like this one before, but I know good food when I eat it, and this food was just on fire ,just excellent. Check them out! They serve many choices of kabob dishes with rice and salad including lamb and even fish along with some Lahori curries. After looking at their menu I decided on Chapli kabab (beef) with rice and salad and boy did I make a good choice these are basically like minced meat full of those Pakistani spices and made into two big beef patties the size of burger patties. FOOD 5/5 Let's start with the beef Patties (Chapli Kabab) they were BBQ grilled to excellence, tender, seasoned to absolute perfection, with a tiny kick of heat to them, and that BBQ grilled flavor that makes meat  really nice. The Basmati rice was beyond generous in portion size so much so, that I couldn't even finish all the rice, huge portion! It was also cooked to perfect rice goodness, loose and seasoned perfectly with Pakistani style flavour. I truly enjoyed every grain of rice. This meal as it was could have easily feed two adults with the generous amount of rice you get. The white yogurt sauce or (Riata) is what I think they call it was so amazing and so refreshing, this sauce was palate cleansing and the perfect sauce to pour over your rice or dip your meat in it. I really enjoyed it, you could really taste the refreshing mint and lemon in it. There perfect combo with this spicy food. The salad was super fresh with lettuce, tomatoes and onions and cut to the perfect mouth size bits. The presentation of the food was also A1 as far as takeout. SERVICE 5/5 the girl who served me was very nice and friendly and took the time to explain a few questions I had, the food was freshly cooked to order, it only took about 10 minutes at most to have my food ready. I highly recommend this place the quality was there the portions were huge for your monies worth and food was just excellent tasty and flavorful in every aspect.  If you're in the area check this place out if you're in the moodfor Pakistani BBQ Kababs, you won't be disappointed I assure you. Go get you some grilled Kabobs you will be back for more, I know I am for sure!! Kudos to this restaurant for such great food!

As we are shifting our home close to this restaurant decided to give the food here a try as looked interesting The restaurant was really full on a Monday evening and half the tables were reserved So we had a very uncomfortable seat next to the door with cold air coming in with every person who opened the door An excellent place for some great food This is a great Pakistani restaurant Liked the food though the naans were too big and thick however tasted great The gravy was good too though I personally am not a gravy fan so passed it The Chapli kebabs were good however too too spicy couldn't deal with the spice level Would have been better had it been less spicy The kheer was the best this was rabri kheer though no almonds in it as says almond kheer However the taste of the kheer was awesome Loved it Would love to try more kebabs and gravy for my spouse from here The owners wonderful gracious people sit at the restaurant and take an interest in their business Great food and service

Whether you want thick, creamy, red curries, soft charry sesame seed naans or ; a fiery plate of seekh kababs there's a Pakistani restaurant primed to sort your spice cravings in Brampton. The most popular choice is a chargha and it is too good. CHARGHA WITH RICE 9/10 SEEKH KABAB 9/10 Chicken tikka 9/10 . .

This place has the best halal chicken bbq in GTA. Environment (3/5): Definitely a take out restaurant, they have limited seating and serve you in disposable plates. Food (10/5 haha): We ordered chicken saji and charga, enough to feed 6 people. The saji was mind blowing it was juicy and very delicious, hands down the best chicken I have had in GTA. The charga was excellent as well but I liked saji better. We also ordered kuna, it was good too. Overall, order chicken saji and thank me later!

    Chicken chargha (barbq) with rice

This used to be family favourite chargha place to go to. In the past couple of years their quality has gone down a bit hence the 3 stars. Chargha is a chicken grilled on top of charcoals. These guys keep the skin on and give it a nice char which tastes great. The chicken is usually juicy and marinated well. Over the years they have increased the spice level which is not to my liking. The chicken is also severed on a bed of rice which has nice flavouring from the juices of the chicken. The portion of rice has also decreased recently. In spite of that this meal can easily serve about 4 people. The meal also comes with onions dipped in vinegar. As far as the pricing its on the pricier side considering the fact that Brampton is the hub of desi (brown people) food and you can find cheaper alternatives. I have also tried the kunna ghost (mutton curry) and Naan and was pleased by both the items. I usually call in advance and place my order for pick up which takes no longer than 15 mins. I really hope these guys in their food quality again!

    Overly spicy useless haleem
    Sehrish A.

Haleem. (Haleem is a stew which always includes wheat or barley, meat, and sometimes lentils).. This haleem was very average..I had to mix it with home made lentils to tone down the extreme heat.. Not worth getting again. I've tried this place many times and they just never improved. This place used to have the best charga in town. Then fame got to them.. Not only did they become more arrogant with their attitude and customer service but the quality went down tremendously.. If you've never had their charga before you wouldnt know how it's different now.. The halwa which I bought and returned was a 4 tbspn container of orange blob for $4.. Terrible. It's safe to say I can let this place go for good.

Great authentic food. Prices can be a little better compared to competition around the area.

Well, this is the place to go and while they're well known for their BBQ (or so I've heard), majority of their menu is spicy. However, I was excited to find that some items, such as the chicken tikka and malai boti are mild/not too spicy so I often for those. I didn't try any of the meat items, since I don't really eat meat, but everything I've ordered from their chicken was amazing! I loved the malai boti, chicken malai leg and the chicken tikka. We ordered some karachi paratha on the side and decided to make our own paratha roll at home with the chicken and it turned out very very good. I would come back here in the future should I need or crave good chicken and BBQ. The seasoning and spices used were great. Their tea was also pretty good and portion was quite generous. I gave a 4/5 as I also tried their peshawari ice cream, but was not a fan of it. The ice cream used was not creamy enough and it was topped with rooh afza, making it a little sweeter and the ice cream was also quite small considering it was $5. Stick to what they're known for and that is their kababs and BBQ. Don't forget to grab some tea as well. Forgot to grab a pic of our order.

From Hero to Zero…read more I'm not a frequent biryani eater, but when I do have it, I prefer quality over quantity. I've been a regular customer of Deira Biryani, usually ordering once a week or at least twice a month, and it's consistently been good--until now. This time, the experience was disappointing. The biryani lacked flavor, the rice was bland and overcooked, and there were no curry spices to enhance the taste. They used veal with bone, and I was served a large, inedible piece along with two giant potatoes that took up most of the container--leaving very little room for the actual biryani rice. What was even more frustrating was the lack of customer service. I called them twice to share my feedback, but no one bothered to return the call or acknowledge the issue. Sadly, what was once a reliable go-to has taken a step in the wrong direction.

I have tried many many many biryanis but it didn't really satisfy my taste buds. But I have finally found the one at Dera Biryani house. They really put their heart into it when they make the biryani. I ordered the Veal and Chicken biryani large tray. The flavour, the taste, the combination of rice with biryani masala was just delicious. Veal biryani had soo much flavour. It was fresh. It was HOT. It was delicious. I can go on and on. If you guys are ever craving biryani, this is the place to be. I drove from Milton just to get this biryani. The owners are so nice and accommodating. I asked for a fresh tray they said it should be ready in an hour and they did as promised. My favourite part of this biryani was the potato. I would definitely come back to this place no matter how busy they are. Thank you Sohail for making our lunch special !
