They send out mailers with very low rates to get you to call and get a quote. The quote is almost double. This is after I got the quote for $2,114. In all fairness I have included the conversation in its entirety you can decide for yourself. When an insurance company sends out JUNK mail with rates that have no basis in reality I cannot do business with them. My issue is with the deceptive mailers that waste your time getting quotes that are not founded in any type of reality. Here is the email conversation I had with Brandy so you can read both sides and decide for yourself. My hope in posting this review is for them to reconsider sending out deceptive mailers as in my opinion they don't help their business. Me: Honestly the only reason I reached out for a quote was the mailer that shows premiums of $912-1,204. I get that this is a marketing mailer but seems disingenuous to send out mailers with unrealistically low rates shown. Thanks for your time but I'll respectfully pass. Brandy: Some homes do still qualify for that rate. Have a great weekend. Me: I doubt anyone is writing a $372,000 policy for $912. Leave that type of marketing for used car dealers. Our agency holds integrity in our highest priority. We have no issue's with our image as we are upfront and honest with all clients we speak with. You do not need to take our quotes we offer as they are free and hold you to no obligation. Whether you believe it or not our agency writes all over Texas and we find rates that are over that dwelling amount in that same price range. They seem to be tied to progressive car insurance (likely get commission/referral bonus) for car insurance as they would only offer us auto insurance from progressive and no other vendor. Even after we ask for them to quote other auto insurances provides. So I doubt they are really "shopping" auto insurance for you. read more

I absolutely love doing business with this company! First they were able to get me house insurance that was way cheaper than anyone I could find!! Second there customer service was above and beyond amazing. I was a first time home buyer and having issues with my lender and Davis insurance helped me get everything handed with the coverage for the house. Update: I just received two nasty messages one from Ryan Davis and another from whoever monitors their facebook page telling me their response to my question was not rude and telling be they are not be deceptive. You tell me....you get a "proposal" for $836 and when you get the quote it is $1,775.00. They bait you to get you to call them and then the truth is revealed. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!! This agency sent me a unsolicited quote for homeowners insurance with two quotes....one being $836 and the other being $760. When I called and they sent me quotes they were more than double this. Which appears to be a bait and switch....they reel you in and then try to stick it to you. I wrote the owner Ryan but, of course, I did not hear back from him but from an office manager. I got a very rude response and below is what she had to say. I would suggest avoiding this agency at all cost and if you get unsolicited mail from them to toss it because it is all a lie Below is the response I received: What is sent in the mail is a marketing piece. It is the best guess on what we can cover you home based off what we have help other people in the past with. The marketing company does not the exact square footage of your home, the age of your home and what you will qualify for. Once we input that information into our system with the details on your home and you information this is when a verified quote is produced. The 283K that she covered your home for is what the insurance companies are tell us we need to be at in order to be at full replacement cost on your home. The mason/veneer vs hardy plank does not change the rating and would be listed the same. This would not be bait and switch. Bait and switch would be it we bound the policy at one cost only to increase the cost later. The piece you received in the mail states at the bottom that this is "Merely a Hypothetical proposal and is not a policy of insurance or an offer to insure" If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to us. The fact Davis Insurance can write through multiple company's they truly do get you the best rates. I thought Geico had the best rate for me, but when they ran insurance quotes, I got the exact same coverage and I am saving $70 a month. Definitely will be bringing my Home to them ASAP. read more

This insurance agency sent out an unsolicited estimate of what my home insurance premium would be. They had the exact information on my house which they downloaded from tax records. I called them and they requested additional information. When they sent the new proposal it was almost twice as high as the letter inferred. Don't fall for this trick and don't do business with this ethically challenged agency. read more
