I called the office to ask a question about insurance. Michele billed my insurance $250 for a…read moresimple question and a 3 minute conversation. A month later, she called me (I did not initiate this call) She asked me if I got the form for insurance, I said no. She billed me another $250 for a two minute phone call. So together for 5 total minutes my insurance was billed $500. My insurance does not cover phone calls. Why would I get billed for asking a question about a form? This wasn't even a medical service. I really liked Michele. she's a great NP. But I will not be going back to Henry Ford Albion because I'm afraid of how much it will cost. I don't feel that I should have been billed at all, let alone twice for an insurance question. This wasn't even a scheduled appointment.
