Don't expect to call your ride to come pick you up, no cell service in the place and $10.00 to use their WiFi.

Came here for a convention. Very nice center. Clean, easy to navigate, good acoustics in the speaking halls. No complaints at all.

This was my first time at the Cinebites event and overall, it was ok. I think the experience could…read morehave been better and I'll outline why. When bought the tickets, there was no indication as to what was on the menu. One of the people in my group has a nut and shellfish allergy, but there was no where on the ticket purchase screen to note this. Normally, reservations would have this option to make sure they can prepare ahead of time. I took a chance and hoped they would ask this when we arrived. We came as a party of four to the Lady and the Tramp movie and the event was listed from 6:30-9:00 but doesn't mention when the doors would open. We arrived at 6:15 thinking that we could sit down and use the facilities before the movie started, but the doors were locked and there was no sign. Several other customers did the same and I assume they were under the same impression. Would have been helpful in the email communication to let customers know when the doors open so they aren't arriving too early and having to wait. When we sat down, the hostess let us know it was open seating and to not leave too many gaps, which is fine, but their setup was not exactly couple friendly. Each table could seat 3 people and since we were a group of 4, the 4th person had to sit in the next table, which felt a little disconnected. One small popcorn bag was placed for every 3 people, so if you had a 4th person in the group, they would have either shared with the group they came with or with a stranger. The menu was on each table, there were no ingredients or allergy mentions. The menu looked standard and the dishes listed don't typically have any shellfish or nuts. There were no announcements made when everyone arrived and no one to greet us other than the hostess at the front. We waited for a while and then at 6:52, the movie started. One the movie started playing, we noticed immediately that the speakers on the left side of the room weren't working. It was hard to hear the movie the rest of the night and I'm not sure if this was just a technical issue that day. When the food started arriving, we had one dish that had almonds and we had to ask the server to send it back because of the allergy. I asked if there were any more items on the list with shellfish or nuts, but they seemed confused at the ask and didn't know. This could potentially cause severe reactions and the Cinebites teams should take this in consideration. Luckily the salad was remade and no issues came up. When the movie was done, the staff came out with a microphone to thank everyone for coming and then had a parade of the staff. It was cool to see those that worked there to make things happen that evening. Now knowing they had a microphone, it would have been nice for them to welcome guests in at the beginning and given directions to those who have never been here before. While I know this is not to the same level as the other Movie and Dinner events out there, it was something new to try out and nice that Utah has something like this.

My daughter recently had her wedding ceremony and reception at Wild Orchard Ranch. Not sure how…read moreshe found it. Overall, the venue was OK. Rustic setting in South Weber, Utah. Rural enough for ambiance, but it's not so out of the way that you're screwed if you forgot something and need to run to the store because you're 2 hours away from civilization - if you know what I mean. Rural setting also meant there was no electricity. Everything ran off generators. Rural setting also meant there were no street lights . . . or street signs . . . or a street. Make sure your headlights are working and that you're not scared to drive on an unlit, country, dirt road at night. No alcohol allowed unless you make prior arrangements - which includes hiring a licensed bartender and signing a liability contract. The staff was very clear about the rules and consequences. Although this didn't affect us, I was taken aback at the threat of having the police called if alcohol was found on the premises. Gotta love Utah. No drones allowed - in case you were wanting drone footage for aerial photographs or videography. Apparently, the venue is located in military restricted air space. Parking was minimal. Kitchen was smallish. Only matters, I guess, if you plan to self cater - which my daughter chose to do. Pre-decorated (country Pintrest style). Staff was pleasant.

First and foremost if you get room 408 turn around and request a different room or at least don't sleep on the bed closest to the window. It's crap. It's like 2 inches in size compared to the other pillow top. Second.... Bring your own pillows as these are like inflatables with holes in them as they deflate to nothing when you lay on them. Literally flatter than a pancake and pretty much like laying in a sheet of newspaper. My husband and I had the worst night of sleep while our daughter slept like a princess. See pics in mattress size differences. Our mattress also felt like the springs were warn out as every time my husband moved it made noise and I felt every move he made. Worst night I've experienced in a looooong time. When we arrived the room was as cold as a deep freezer. We left for dinner, cane back and room seemed to have warmed up. That night we woke up sweating and the thermostat said it was at 67 but was not working and definitely not as cool as 67. Try 75ish?! I also woke up to what sounded like a distant alarm to realizing that it was the refrigerator motor. That was annoying every time it cycled. The bathroom was very tiny, and had one of the squeakiest bathtub floors ever! But it was nice that all the shampoo/conditioner/bath washes were full. We booked a hotel with a pool/spa but unfortunately, it was so packed with children/teens we didn't get to take advantage of those amenities. Breakfast is served, it's just meh. The cinnamon roll was decent, as well as the prepackaged muffins. Omelets were ick and the juices felt watered down. Parking is plentiful. Theres a small convenience shop inside. There's tons of restaurants nearby and shopping. Easily accessible to the highway and nearby Lagoon. Price is affordable but I wouldn't book here again.

We had to enter through a side-service entrance, and the "front desk" was a little window. Yes, apparently they were renovating the entire first floor, despite not contacting us ahead of time to let us know that we were not receiving the amenities or service we specifically booked this hotel for. Their "replacement" for breakfast was an overripe banana, bottle of water, and two heavily-sugar-filled breakfast bars. Hardly an equivalent to the normal expected breakfast. If your hotel is going to be in such a state, you should be emailing/contacting guests to let them know ahead of time. Seriously contemplating switching over to a competitor hotel chain, despite being a Platinum IHG member, because of this experience.
