I first tired to apply here for help in 2024, nothing, even though I was getting through the process in court on my own I was finding it a challenge with my parental responsibilities and his school activities so I tried again in 2025 and got the initial interview only to have all contact dropped again. I finally decided to reach out to them directly and went to their office where I was introduced to Deputy Executive Director Rick Martinez who at first seemed to care about my concerns, but I was mistaken, more silence. I called for a follow up, and got a call back.....a very direct and unprofessional response from Mr. Martinez himself claiming I was a "Waste of time", "Never going to win my case" and attempted to order me to "Return the child to the Mother AT ONCE" I found the moment in a pause of his tirade of ignorance and disengaged from the phone call. I cannot say whether or not this place is for you, because they seem to sway towards the Mothers side. Absolutely mind boggled at how things here are handled, and I am incredibly eager to finish the process (I did get the final packets submitted on my own) and evacuate this state, a decision I made after the experiences I have had with this place, the State Bar and the many lawyers offices on their website. At least back home the legal system is EQUAL unlike the state seal here, Wyoming is TERRIBLE to Fathers and it's "legal representatives" could care less if their ignorance makes life harder for the child the Father is fighting tooth and nail for. Disgusting....
