Prior to us having the first court hearing in September 2024 I constantly reached out to him to figure out what was the status of my case and he wouldn't respond back to me until days later. When we did speak on the phone he would always rush me off the phone as if he had more important matters that took precedence over my case. He also acted as if he never knew what was going on in regards to my case for example he was supposed to have my son's mother served with custody paperwork in the summer of 2024 however when I called him to find out whether or not she was served he was unsure. The only way I found out that the processer served her was because my son mother called me and stated that she had been served. I'm very displeased with his mediocre service, during my first court appearance he failed to prep me properly prior to court which caused the judge to become very irritated with me due to the fact I wasn't fully prepared for the questions that the judge was asking of me and because of him I was tardy for court simply because he gave me the wrong teams virtual link in which he acted as if it wasn't a big deal . It was so disappointing, and embarrassing to say the least that we had to stop the court proceedings so that he and I could go in a separate room to discuss why he didn't inform me of the questions the courts were asking me prior to court. While he and I was having a sidebar while court was being conducted I asked him how come you didn't prepare me for court his exact words to me was Well We Here Now! At that point I relived him of his duties instantly and hired a new attorney. Due to Bostick incompetence and lack of caring I would highly suggest not to hire him to represent you on any court related matter you would be better off saving your money and representing yourself. It appeared to me that he works for the other team and not you.

Called Attorney Bostic to get clarity on a case that the Judge ruled on in May 2019, when in April the Judge said she couldn't rule on due to not having my tax returns in which I sent to Attorney Bostic via email, registered mail and texts messages and he still said that he didn't receive the documents. There was a ruling in December 2018 and no feedback from Atttorney Bostic. I had to contact the courts on my own to get the unfavorable results. I tried calling him and I received a voice message stating that the box was full. Very professional! Attorny Bostic was suppose to file a motion to the court in February 2019 ending child support when my child turns 18 years old. As of date 6-6-2019 no response, no motion entered. Very Disappointed! It feels as though Attorney Bostic takes your money, and line you up for the opposing Attorneys to tear you apart financially. I dealt with Cornelius Bostic for over five years hoping that this so called Attorney who knows the struggles would have enough integrity to do his JOB! I'm very hurt and left with a feeling of helplessness and betrayal by someone you thought you could trust. Please save yourself from the agony that I have experienced. Seek a different Attorney. Now here comes the part that is truly baffling. I received the settlement papers from her in September 2013 and signed the papers. However, I have had no follow-up as to where to send the payment as it was not in the settlement letter and when I requested the information from her via email, she said she would send me the information. To date, I have yet to receive this...I have repeatedly contacted her via phone, text and email and no response over the months to no avail. Now a judgment has been entered in on me without my knowledge almost 30 days ago which I just found out about today and still no communication from the attorney. I do not recommend her legal services, she does not follow-through and will take your money and not do what you hired her to do. Still waiting to see if she is going to address this issue as I have sent her communication asking her to do her job and enter a motion to set aside the judgment.

I contacted Nakeshia's office for help with my custody case. After talking with one of their admin…read moreassistants, I scheduled an appointment with Nakeshia for about 3 weeks out from the day I contacted them. During the initial appointment setup, I specifically requested a video call (they asked me which I would prefer: Phone call vs video call). On the day of my appointment, the first issue I had is that Nakeshia calls me 3 minutes late. My appointment was scheduled for 1pm and I received a call at 1:03pm. In the grand scheme of things, 3 minutes is not that big of a deal. However, when you are paying for a lawyer and already have enough life stressors to be contacting one, it is. Not to mention it shows lack of care on the attorneys part which already puts a bad taste in my mouth and does not make me feel confident in her ability to do big things for me in a court room if needed. The next issue I had was that I received a phone call (not a video call like I specifically requested and they confirmed via email). Upon receipt of the call, I was greeted with a disclosur, which is fine as I know the legal stuff needs to be completed. However, starting with "Hi, how are you doing today?" would have been better, especially after being late. I was then asked to read over and and sign an agreement which took the first 10 minutes of the phone call that I had paid for. This could have easily been done prior to the phone call via email. As the phone call begins, I explain for about 15 minutes a brief explanation of my situation and then am told that she can not help me because my kids reside in north MS (I live in Collierville , TN), which also could have been confirmed during my initial appointment setup so I didn't waste my time or money. At this point in the phone call, although I knew she would not be able to represent me, I figured I could at least get some legal advice since I had already paid for the appointment. Once again, I was disappointed. As I explain to her my situation a little more, I was prompted with no actual legal advice. Instead, I was given a lot of opinions such as "Parenting is hard" or "Being a parent means sacrifices". I even explained to her that I did not want my kids to have to swap homes every other week but she continued to tell me that she felt it was the best option and kids get used to it. If I voice concern about any situation as a parent, you should respect that and be working towards another option. Not pushing your opinion on to me over and over again. I finally got to the point in the conversation where I stopped asking questions and just accepted that I would not get anything out of this attorney. By far the worst experience I have had. I absolutely do not recommend Nakeshia Walls.
