We let them know we wanted to use the pool they advised us that the pool closed early but assured us that since we were both adults that we can stay as long as we like inside of the pool. They even adjusted our spot to help us closer to the pool. The restrooms and shower were super clean! Great people we met gave us the go to's when we left east from New Zealand! Thats how we found ourselves at Cajun Palms resort in Lafayette, LA. Definitely the best pull through service we've gotten on our journey RV'n!

One thing to keep in mind--the road to get into the park isn't paved. Make sure to watch out for the entrance at the tire shop. Jax is their dog who is great , you can find him helping to manage things. He is a character. He can open and shut the office door and often takes the passenger seat on the golf cart. Today (June 2nd) started off like a normal Sunday for us. We went out to breakfast and then headed…read moredown to Pleasanton to freedom RV to enjoy the nudist pool and hang out with friends for the afternoon. Our group ended up being four couples and one single fella. We were laughing had a few drinks, enjoying the heck out of a sunny beautiful day. We were there probably about 2 hours when a single male kept showering unwanted attention on the female members of our group. At which time, we basically circled the wagons literally as well as figuratively I being on the outer edge had my back facing this we'll just say gentleman. My proximity alarm was going off in a loud fashion and I just noticed this guy getting closer and closer at which point he grab my ass not once or twice but quite a few times. I finally had to address the situation face to face with him. There was no violence but there was a bit of encouragement for him to leave both myself and the female members of our group alone to enjoy the day. It went back and forth for a few until he returned to the table he was sitting at. This is where the afternoon and our relationship with freedom went south. One of the members of his party was the erstwhile manager for the park(if I understand correctly, her name is Betty), who has an issue with lifestyle people. After another hour she came over to our little corner and announced that we were in violation of several park rules, including "having sex" in the pool, "fondling" each other "until climax"..... Ummm dammit I missed it all . I asked to please leave us alone with her accusations , honestly in a calm voice (at first) and progressively louder voice as she escalated the situation.....when she levelled specific accusations against my wife, I lost my temper at that point and invited her to perform certain acts which are probably physically impossible and decided to wait to talk with the owner. Dee showed up a few minutes later with a copy of the rules, I pointed out to her that they were clearly posted behind her and I found that unnecessary to point out as we have been there since , well pre-naked pool. Our group has been there, supporting the business with both time and money. Several times we all showed up for the work parties, cleaning the grounds, fencing, etc....so we nee the rules and had no issues following them. I did inform her that her manager was "a less than intelligent member of the human race" and I was ending our relationship at that point. I will give Dee credit as she issued the refund for membership shortly thereafter. I wanted to leave this here to give caution to other group members who might give thought to going there seeking a peaceful day. Unless you are prepared for 1950s dating protocols (6-8 inch distance, no hugging, no pimple popping [lol couldn't resist that one ....she who that is aimed at- I love you dearly]) you may want to reconsider your choice of venues.
