He was timid like most kids, and did not tell her off as I would have, but he complied with orders to remove himself from the shower stall in a towel, and then she wanted him to walk outside to prove he lived in the spot he said he did by arming his car alarm. He pointed our spot within 200 feet of the bathroom, laundry, and office facilities for the last 6 months but that wasn't enough. Then she simply walked away without any apology or anything said further, leaving a kid in his towel standing there alone and lost as to what he did wrong. He had taken a shower every night in there so he should be known by all staff. I was out of town, or this would have been handled differently, considering the adult I am. She only confronted my son, once he was alone in bathroom, so I feel like he was targeted, because the bathroom was not empty a minute prior to this. Considering all this, and the fact I pay near $1200 to be here, and the QRV corporate people decided to reprimand her and not do anything for is, besides email apologizing and excusing her behavior in what ways worked for them. My favorite part, was corporate kid(Nick) I can only assume kid, because he thought he had the right how to tell me to act or react in this situation. I'm a father of 8, and I'll react how I see fit, and he learned that.

The final nail in the coffin was prior to checking out I told Roz, the owner/manager that I wanted…read moreto give her notice that I was leaving to have repairs made to my RV and that my departure date was uncertain as I was waiting on the RV Repair center to give me an exact date. The repairs were expected to take up to a month or more. The LRRVR Contract for long-term rental states that 30 days notice must be given prior to your departure or your security deposit will be forfeited. I explained the situation to Roz and she told me not to worry at all about the 30 day notice, that because I had been a good guest she would waive that requirement, but to just give her notice as soon as I had an exact date. Well, about a month later, the RV repair shop called and gave me a shop date of about a week out. I immediately told Roz. She again stated to me that it was no problem-and that she already had someone lined up to take my spot. Well, here's the short: I ask for my security deposit after I checked out and Roz refused, stating I didn't give her a 30-day day notice. I'm like what!? You had previously told me you would waive it. However, she said it didn't matter whatever she had told me, the contract states 'thirty days notice', therefore she was keeping my security deposit. That's just downright deceptive, raw, and dead wrong. As my previous review points out, the con's outweigh the pro's. It's too bad because the Lost Resort RV Ranch Park could have been made into a gem, but cutting corners and cheating people never works out in the long run. Finally, there are just much better places to stay, and mean dishonest people, they really suck.

We picked this park because of its proximity to the Riverwalk. From the park to downtown is about 5 miles and the Riverwalk is right behind the park the location was really nice. These 2 went above and beyond to make sure our stay was awesome. Super nice people that radiate positivity. Pros of the park: laundry, vending machines, pool, 2 bathhouses, recreation area, pickleball court, level cement sites, pet area, super close to sea world with a shuttle offered, awesome staff. Cons: hot water in showers runs out fast and if someone was in there before you there might not be hot water at all. Trash blows around A LOT and the lawn care people make it worse. Overall, we really enjoyed our month stay and highly recommend this campground.

But I feel where it's at right now, it great. Everyone at the front is super friendly. Got to our space which is pretty much spot on side to side level. The flow is good, can be a pain coming back from a day out having to drive the rows to get back to your site, but it's not that terrible. Proximity: 10 minutes from Sea World (which I hate the business as a whole and vehemently disagree with their business) and 25 without traffic from six flags. The closest nice campground six flags, might I add. They have a playground, a pool, and a dog playground area. Overall, really dig this place.

I'm told that Nancy opened the park about five years ago and there are some who have been here from the beginning and I love that about the place. You just won't want to leave unless you have to. Nancy also offers several spots for those traveling through for only days or weeks. If you appreciate the outdoors and peace and quiet, this is your place. Last night I fell asleep to the owls communicating. There is a family of foxes that make appearances from time to time and a roadrunner that lives around here. Nancy has cattle in the pasture that roam nearby. My bird feeders are overwhelmed year round and it's hard to keep up with the hummingbirds from April to October. Who needs amenities when you have nature? For exercise we walk the long driveway, the park roads, or the pasture. We are only 25 minutes from San Antonio and grateful to be living out of the city, yet close enough to go when needed. You won't find trashy trailers here or loud partiers. There are some rules and that too is why we love it. I noticed there weren't any updated posts and I hope this helps others to consider this piece of paradise. PS...I have no shortage of beautiful sunset pics but these are my favorites.
