Prom season is upon us. We were looking around at dresses and had no luck anywhere. We walked in around 7pm. They closed at 8pm. We went to work. They let us take 3 dresses at a time to try on. We were helped by the lovely Michelle. She was amazing! She helped us find the perfect dress in a timely manner and gave us tips on accessories. Definitely feel that it is worth the price of the dress here. It was about 180 for a dress but it fit right off the rack. read more

I had my appointment on 3/14/2026, and my Stylist was Lisa Samaniego, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, I would like to personally thank my wonderful stylist, Lisa, for making it a very comfortable and beautiful experience for me. She was very attentive, caring and respectful. She made it about me, and asked all the right questions to help me find the one and say yes to the dress. If I could I would rate my experience and my stylist a 10/10. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone not just looking for wedding dress, but they also have many options to choose from, as far as Bridesmaid dresses, for prom or any occasion. She did not pressure or push us to hurry up and decide. She had great patience helping us and made us feel welcomed. She created an open space for us to ask for ideas and suggestions. She was friendly and communicative. Treatment by employees is what makes people loyal to a business. Walked out feeling completely ignored! Went to look for a dress for our daughter's wedding. I was shown where the dresses were and that's it. No help whatsoever! No one checked to see if I needed help or if I had any questions. What's worse is the store was basically empty!! Won't go back or refer anyone to this store!!!! I tried on dresses here for the first time. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my 12:00pm appointment. I was greeted by the staff who shared my consultant was finishing up another appointment and I could start browsing. I was advised to take pictures of all dresses I liked as those would be available for try on. After about 15 minutes of browsing, my consultant Morgan greeted me. Morgan was phenomenal, she was quick to grab the dresses I tried on and quick to recommend other dresses that I thought weren't my style. Morgan was super helpful and listened to any feedback I provided and even had me try on styles outside of my comfort zone to gauge my preferences. When I did select a dress I fell in love with, she provided support with putting on a veil, and even trying on cap sleeves. The dress I picked was a great value for the type of dress. Most of the dresses I saw on the floor were in the $500-1500 range which was within my budget. read more

Lisa was amazing! We went in the day before and had a very unhelpful stylist, named Andrea which left me feeling discouraged in finding the right dress in my price range. Reluctantly I booked another appointment for the next day and we got Lisa. She completely changed my whole experience! She was so helpful in finding what I liked and kept it in my budget. I ended up leaving with a dress I love along with a veil, shape wear, and garment bag and left feeling good about the whole experience. Thank god for Lisa and her expertise. I came to try on bridesmaids dresses for a wedding. We arrived early for our appointment and looked for dresses we liked. When our appointment began, we were given someone who was also assisting a bride with dresses. So she was running back and forth between the groups which was crazy. I've tried on dresses at many locations and this was the first time I experienced anything like this. The fitting area was in the open so people can watch you make adjustments and stuff, a lack of privacy. Every time I came out, a man would stare at me while I was adjusting my boobs because there are mirrors everywhere so he didn't even have to turn his head. Uncomfortable. This location also didn't have a lot of dresses in our size which were average sizes. Maybe it's a popular location, I am not sure, but I rather go to my local store. read more

The staff is so amazing here! I went in without an appointment and they were able to get me an appointment an hour later that day. When my appointment came I told them how I was getting married in two days and I just received my other wedding dress that I ordered months prior (from a different place) earlier that morning and it was about three sized too big and I how I even ordered a size down and it was still quite huge. The lady was super understanding and helped me with my last minute dress shopping. I got to have the full experience dress shopping with my mom, which I hadn't had yet since I ordered the other one online. I tried on quite a few dresses and the woman who helped me found me the perfect dress in my price range and I was able to walk out with it the same day since I was only trying on dresses that would fit and I wouldn't have to get altered. I'm plus sized, so I didn't think I would be able to find a dress, but they had so many beautiful options. It was an amazing experience and I didn't even realize the place was closed and they (there were two workers helping me), made sure I got my dress. My wedding was wonderful and I'll never forget the experience I had here. It was truly a blessing! I got a dress, a beautiful veil, and a belt for the dress that was so beautiful! This review was written in regards to this location's return policy. I had to return a wedding dress, (under 500 dollars.) I had not worn it, tags were still on.less than 30 days etc. I checked their return policy written on the receipt and online return policy too. So I did my research. But they refused me the return. When I asked why, the sales person said they could not take it back because I am returning it after my wedding date. It's funny because that was not a return restriction written ANYWHERE. It sounded made up. I get how a return would be frowned upon for a retail company.But they should still honor the company's return policy and not try to modify it. I was very upset, So I called the Davids bridal in Riverside and they said that my dress could be returned and the manager I spoke with has never heard of the return policy Ontarios location gave me. read more

My wife got her dress here they do not communicate at all , dress was not ready on time and from the day she ordered the dress. It was known that it needed some altering so they said it would be ready on a specific date and it in fact was not ready and then we called a couple days after and they said "it's not our job to call you for alterations " ...okay got it so we are just supposed to know when it's ready . Overall the experience from beginning to end had a lot of hiccups. From them ignoring the women I brought with me and their recommendations. To bringing me dresses that was well over my budget. Knowing budget, and not disclosing that I'd pay half my dress price to have it altered. Having me wait for 3+ hours for my final pick up that they said was ready but didn't even start steaming it til I showed up to pick it up. Then couldn't even figure out how to do the bustling so I had to leave just having a plan to "wing it" come my wedding night with a 3 foot train of dress behind me They were also very rude to my bridal party and my mom during their dress looking experience. I haven't been into a David's Bridal location in over a decade. We stopped by, no appointment, to look for prom dresses for my daughter. She's a junior in highschool so not the big, official prom yet. We were greeted by a store representative at the front of the store. It felt good to be acknowledged. They had a pretty decent selection with many of their items on sale. My daughter and I found a dress or two she liked but some of the dresses being made for minors these days are too revealing. My daughter did find a dress in the sale section that we thought was on sale but when we went to check out it was actually priced as marked. Still it was an okay value but ultimately we decided to ship elsewhere for her dress. read more

I worked with Melissa F. as my consultant. She listened to my feedback and found the perfect dress for me within budget. She answered all of my questions and was very sweet to my mom and I. Dressing was a breeze with her tips in the dressing room, and she found me the most beautiful veil. I'm beyond excited to wear it. I had to wait a couple of weeks to receive my dress, as my size wasn't in stock, but it came earlier than anticipated. I worked with Martha for pick-up and try on. The dress fit like a glove! What a wonderful experience I had at this store on three separate occasions this month. Each encounter with several employees at this location left me feeling happy and satisfied. My first experience was with Mari, I went in late towards closing time however Mari was kind enough to help me sort through dresses to try on. And was very helpful throughout the entire process. Friendly and helpful in suggestions and ordering. My second experience was Nischa who was also very pleasant she was kind and helpful. My third experience was as I was feeling very overwhelmed and Alicia noticed and immediately asked if I needed assistance, she was very polite, helpful and patient. There are a great variety of formal dresses, shoes and accessories to choose from. I left with my dress I was happy and felt cared for in all aspects of my experience here. I came in as a walk in around exactly 2pm, they told me they could help try on dresses at around 3. I saw there was hardly anyone there and a lot of workers doing nothing but we still waited. They were still late in helping us. The woman who helped me reeked of cigarettes which was annoying since she was helping me put on the dress so it's all I smelt. She also didn't give me dresses I asked for. I asked for a-line that was either satin or lace. She gave me a lot with rhinestones, sparkles, two-color tones, etc. I told her over and over like I'm not even going to try it on. She kept insisting on getting more dresses that were basically the same versions of the other ones. She was honestly rude as she didn't listen to what I wanted. The dresses were extremely outdated and extremely expensive for the quality. They hardly had any sale dresses that were even nice. Most of the dresses reminded me of 2016 prom dresses just in white. Charging over $1200 for low-quality material was absurd. We came here for cheaper options but were extremely disappointed. Yaharra Molina helped me with my dresses. She was professional, kind, patient, and answered all questions I had and even gave recommendations. I found "The One" this appointment and it was overall a great experience. I did feel a little bit anxious when the manager came around. I understand my allotted time for my appointment was 90minutes but she conveniently was hovering around that time and I felt as though maybe she was going to say something about going over time. She never said anything though so that was nice. Not sure how it would have played out had I not bought a dress though. I went with the bride to be about two months ago looking for a dress and had a wonderful experience and she found her dress. This review is for the alterations. We went for her first alterations and the dress needed hemming, the straps to be taken in, add bustle to her dress and, it needed the thread loop for the hook for the back of the dress. We were told to come back which was about two weeks ago. We went in, she put on her dress and the hemming was not done right still too long, the bustle was uneven on one side, no thread loop for the hook and the straps of her dress were sown back on twisted. Spoke to seamstress & the girl that was there that night and said every thing would be fixed and come back the following week, the bride asked them "don't you want to write everything down" and we were assured that they got it and it would be fixed and to come in the following week. We go in last week Friday, she tries on the dress the hemming is fixed, the bustle was even but still no loop for the hook and the straps were still twisted. The bride lives in LA and I live in the area that's why we ended up at this David's Bridal and the dress is suppose to go home with me that night. They said they would fix it and we had to wait. She broke down crying because it was something that should have been fixed. This is unnecessary stress to give to a Bride one week before her wedding. I was going to come back another day to pick it up but was informed that when I pick up her dress and I sign the paper then they aren't responsible if there was something else wrong with the dress. The beginning of my experience as a bride looking for my dress was incredible, Damaris was so helpful she heard and understood my perfect wedding dress ideas. However issues arose when it came to picking up my dress. I received a phone call to try on my dress but it wasn't ready for when I arrived. I was told it would take one hour. I went to a nearby coffee shop to wait and returned a couple of hours later. I took a seat and no one helped me for twenty minutes. When someone came by to check on me I was told it still wasn't ready. I waited thirty more minutes and when I tried my dress on it was trimmed too short. After that I decided to just take my dress home as I had already spent close to 3 hours there. As I was inspecting my dress to take it home there was a button missing and it took another long time to fix. When I was ready to leave one employee didn't want to give me a bag I had already paid for even when I showed them I paid for it on my receipt. It was only until the person at the front desk that helped me get the bag. Honestly the experience was stressful and I would not recommend buying a dress from here. read more

Don't have your bridal dresses shipped here & don't believe what some of the staff members tell you. The positive first. The dresses here are affordable and beautiful and the dress stylists at the Ontario location were all very helpful and kind which is why they get 3 stars. However, some major issues. The first thing that happened was I felt very pressured to purchase the first wedding dress I tried on. My dress stylist was very kind and compassionate but another staff member (I assume the manager?) was watching from the corner and making comments. I told her my wedding was in mid-September (4 months away when I went in at that time) & I was trying on dresses I knew were available to ship within 1 week because it said so online. The woman watching pressured me to purchase the dress immediately saying it would take 6-8+ weeks for the dress to arrive and another 6-8+ weeks for alterations. That made no sense when online it said it would arrive in 2 weeks & my personal tailor said he could get my hem done in 2-3 weeks. I told them I'd like to wait to get my mom and sisters at the store to get their opinions on each dress. The woman shook her head and goes "No, no, you should just FaceTime them. There's no time for that. You need to buy a dress like today!" Feeling pressured, I purchased the stupid wedding dress. I bought it online though because I honestly didn't entirely trust this woman and had bad vibes from her. Sure enough, my dress came within 1.5 weeks. I definitely don't have those "Omg I love it!" Dress vibes but it's a decent dress & my tailor can alter it in 3 weeks for half the price, plus make custom changes to make it look nicer for me. The 2nd issue is that the girls at the store told me they had "champagne" dresses for my bridesmaids. I'm also having men on my side so I felt champagne (gold/beige) would suit all of them nicely. They told us they called it "sand" and swore it was beige and champagne. My girls ordered it and it's absolutely pink. Like a rose gold color (pink/beige) which doesn't suit my darker skinned bridesmaids or the men on my side. Apparently you can't return it after 7 days though, only exchange. Unless they can magically pull out a real champagne color, what are we supposed to exchange it for? It sucks because the men already have their actual champagne colored suits ordered, my decorations are champagne colored and the flowers are ordered to complement gold/beige. Anyway my recommendations are: 1. go with your entire family first, not by yourself. 2. Ship to your home 3. Find your own seamstress 4. Go somewhere else for champagne colored dresses read more

Ive visited this place twice looking for a bridesmaid dress and on both occasions absolutely no one helped me or having assistance with finding a dress... the most recent occasion it was a slow day for them. All the associates were at the registers and no one offered a fitting room nor help. Highly upsetting. Where is the customer value at that. Not much inventory to pick from. Dresses looked too cheap for the value being sold. As a former manager from a retail company I highly recommend that they need more trainings on customer service and the assistance they need to provide when a customer walks in the door. read more

The worse experience with the alterations dept. unfortunately they have young inexperienced girls working with the customers. I came in here on a busy Sunday with two of my best friends looking for a dress for my wedding, completely oblivious to needing to schedule an appointment but I was very lucky they were able to get us a stylist within about 10 minutes AND she was AMAZING! We LOVE Dinell!!! She literally made this whole experience! I am not that bride who has been planning my wedding my whole life, I'm not that bride who already had a vision of what I wanted and to be honest I was not excited about wedding dress shopping due to my own insecurities but Dinell immediately made me feel comfortable and her confidence was as contagious. She made the experience fun for not only myself but for my girlfriends as well and turned something I saw as a chore into a experience. So thank you Dinell!!! read more

I feel like we were rushed during our appointment to try on wedding gowns. The girl assigned to us didn't let the bride or her bridesmaids pick out any of the dresses. She brought dresses for her to try on in one style and it was not even the style that the bride most comfortable with. Also every dress she brought seemed to be very low quality even though we never discussed budget. And the end of our very rushed 1hr appt she had us all scan barcodes to rate her and was pushing the bride to sign up for some sort of David's Bridal account and kept saying it was to keep track of all the dresses she tried on but the bride never said she liked any of them. We had much better experiences at some of the local boutiques bridal shops. It's sad that a fun special day was spoiled by the way they do business. read more
