I will start by saying, I will not be returning to this location in the future. I have made a total of 3 visits within the last 4 months. 1st was by myself in the middle of the week around 11am. Was helped by a young lady with dirty blonde curly hair. The experience was 5 stars!!!! She was super patient and helpful!!!!! And the only reason there are 2 stars on this review. I unfortunately wasn't able to book with her again because my maid of honor was not available when she was working. My 2nd visit was ok. 3.5 stars. The young lady was nice, but also seemed a bit annoyed I had picked so many dresses. I did wind up purchasing a dress. 3rd visit was 1 star. I went to meet my mother and my maid of honor as well as to pick up my wedding dress. My friends and family were not greeted nor helped. When I got there I had to walk up to the ladies that were up front super deep Into a conversation as well as Extremely loud to ask for assistance, where I got a few eye rolls and they stared at me blankly where I had to ask yet again if someone could help us. For there to be 4-5 employees standing up front while 2 sets of customers are in the store and only 1 person helping the both of us...... Is besides me. I also wanted to re try on my wedding dress that just came in so my mother who flew across the country could see it for the first time. They hung up my wedding bag in the dressing room and the rest was up to me. I received no help where it took me 15 min just to figure out how to clip in the shoulder pieces.... Had to figure out how to take my own dress out of the bag. (And yes, I had to figure it out.... I've never purchased a wedding dress before or one at David's bridal so I did not know how it was hung on the inside and had to search for the zipper) I had to ask for help just to zipper my dress. I made an appointment for alterations on my dress and missed the confirmation call where they had left a message. I called the store back and the young lady on the phone seemed confused and annoyed when I let her know I was confirming an appointment where she then asked me "why". Needless to say I will not be coming back to this location and will be taking my alteration business elsewhere. It was supposed to be my magical day to pick my wedding dress and all I felt like was an annoyance. If you are choosing to work at a place where people are visiting you during the milestones in their life there is a certain level of service that should be given and as an employee if you are not able to deliver that kind of service, I would highly suggest employment elsewhere. read more

I had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress in January 2022. I scheduled an appt and was able to bring my maid of honor, mother, and sister to help me pick my dress. Sophia was so nice and helped me feel gorgeous even though my hair and makeup weren't done that day LOL. I even found my flower girl's dress here, veil, my shoes and all of my day-of accessories, plus my bridesmaids all ordered their dresses here. No one had any issues with sizing, style, color, etc. They told me my dress would be shipped to me by May, but it was ready by February. The alterations department was quick and friendly. It was a little pricey because I ended up getting pregnant in April 2022 and had to have extra alterations, but everything looked and fit perfectly for the big day! They have a ton of different colors and styles of dresses to choose from. I also bought my prom dress here in 2014! read more

Went in today with family started of real well. Haliey was excellent and patient after trying on the 3rd dress the manger was out of the dressing room. Proceeded to ask questions when we answered she just was sounding snarky. When she came out of the dressing room after taking the dress off we would told that it was our last one we could try on and need to leave. So we could not find a graduation dress or wedding dress. we will never come back and highly recommend that no one comes here if you want good customer service or satisfaction. read more

I had also ordered a mother of the bride dress and they waited 2 weeks to call me and tell me they don't make it anymore. Why is it on the rack? Why would you sell that? Who would have bought the dress on the rack in the condition it was in? (why I ordered a new one) Turns out that was a god send. (My new one is much much prettier) And then when I asked to have my third party dress altered there as well, ( before they ruined my daughter and grandaughters dress) it was too close to crunch time. Turns out that was a god send also because they completely ruined my daughter and grandaughters third party dresses. Can only imagine what would have happened to my new one. Just depend on your local seamtresses private buisnesses and stay away from this place. Lauren helped me with my appointment. During the COVID-19 they only see people with appointments. Yes, that means no walk-ins welcome. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment before the wedding but they are pretty booked and they only take a few appointments during the day. My grandma was able to be there and that meant a lot for me. Lauren was very good at picking dresses. They do send you a survey to your email and that you definitely should complete before hand so your stylist knows best how to help you and avoid "waste of time". When I say that, I referrer more of the time you have to do other things for the wedding, it is fun to try all dressed but you know in your heart what is your dress style lol. We shouldn't be selfish, specially in this time of limiting time available due to codes. To my surprise my dress and the extra accents I said yes to were on discount! Yes of course I'll brag lol, weddings are expensive even on a coronavirus budget, ha. They will make your appointment if you happen to show up as a walk-in. The day of my appointment I forgot my mask but they offered me one. I didn't expect one but it was nice they can offer one if needed. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!The wedding we were attending got canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. So, bridesmaids are no longer needed since it is being held on Zoom. As a result we no longer need dresses. We called the store and they refuse to cancel our orders. Everyone who ordered online got their orders canceled but those of us who ordered in the store on March 9th were denied cancelation request. Even though on our receipt it clearly states that we can get a refund up to 14 days after pickup (dresses haven'teven been shipped). Alternatively, the receipt also states that you may return up to 30 day after pick-up. However, none of the bridesmaids have picked up their dresses because they haven't even shipped out and not scheduled to ship out until July. The store manager stated that they changed the policy yesterday and no longer allowing cancelation. WTH??? Why can't we cancel orders that are not special requests or special colors nor have been shipped out? This store is ridiculous. Also, I was just informed that all alterations for the month of June have been canceled. I do not recommed this location unless you just need to see what you like.. Afterwards go online and make your purchase. Trust me you will have a much better experience, especially with all that is going on in the world today and not knowing when/if you'll even get to have your special day ? read more

This place is terrible I would give 0 stars if possible. My fiancé picked her dress out in May for our September wedding. The store ruined the dress doing alterations and now it's one week from the wedding and we have to scramble to find a new dress and get alterations. Called the Corp HQ office and takes three days to get back to us after having to raise hell on their text messaging assistant. I went to Smyrna to visit a friend for Super Bowl weekend and scheduled an impromptu wedding dress trip. The sales agent (unfortunately don't remember her name) that helped me pull dresses and get into the dresses was super helpful! This is my 2nd trip to DB and was far better than my first experience. Overall the experience was great and I was able to narrow down the style I'm looking for in a wedding dress. My sales agent gave me some helpful advise on styles that complement my body type. She also advised on timeline on when to get my dress and possible issues I might face with an out of state wedding. Terrible Experience buying a Bridesmaid Dress at the Avenue in Murfreesboro, TN. I will NOT be back to purchase my daughter's Wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses for her wedding next Spring. The staff was unfriendly and pushy. There was a sale going on during the weekend they were there to purchase the dresses. She asked if she could pay the following Tuesday, when she got paid. They said no, the sale would be over. She paid, Went home and looked online and the sale was still going on beyond that Tuesday. The pushy sales person just wanted the sale for that day. Then 2 weeks later, she got a phone call that the dress was in and she had 5 days to pick up. She explained that she had a fever. They again said she had to pick up by Saturday. The service was great thank you. My one complaint is after spending $2000 dollars on a wedding gown, veil, under garments they asked if we wanted a linen garment bag for the dress. We said of course (seemed like a stupid question), the lady said ok it's $10.95 extra. I was livid, we spent $2000 dollars, brides maids dresses to be ordered and you want to charges us for a garment bag with your name on it. (Free advertising). It's not the money it's the point. How cheap and tacky! If I purchase a dress or suit at a fine dress store or men's shop they certainly don't charge for a garment bag with their name on it. Susan J made this dress shopping trip good just because of how she is as a representative of their company. I have went to David's Bridal in Louisiana and had bad experiences. I decided to go dress shopping with my sisters who live in TN. Had it not been for her, the experience would have been forgetable (if thats a word lol). My appt was scheduled possibly a month in advance and I had to wait at least 30 mins. It was busy and they had her working several brides at one time. She was so calm and polite. She is truly a gem. I have been to this location twice now. One was several years ago , the other last week . Both times I received rude attitude from the ladies who work there . The 1st time I went in on a whim right after my engagement just to see what was out there . The store was empty and i found a dress i wanted to try on , the consultant asked my size and i told her i was not sure maybe a 10 or 12 . So she brings a 10 and it didn't fit ...she said in the most ill mannered, snotty rude, voice "you are not a 10 ." i was so embarrassed i left the store . Most women do not understand how wedding dress sizes work , and there was no need for that kind of treatment. The second time last week , I went in with my best friend (she and I are both recently engaged ) . I walked in and told them she wanted to look around , they asked if i was looking as well and I said no I had my dress already , but I may purchase some accessories at some point . From that moment on they did not want to speak to me at all and were only interested in shoving any dress down my besties throat . We went to look at the dresses on the racks and the girl was there every 5 min annoying us to pick something to try on . She was so rude and pushy . Finally I told her "could you please just give us a few minutes ?" So she passed us onto another consultant because she didn't want to "deal" with us . The 2nd consultant was very patient and understand . I won't go here ever again . I have proven to myself that Davids bridal does not really care about brides but simply making money . The bridal business is about patients and understanding , its a wedding dress it takes time . All they want to do is sell you the 1st thing you see and get you out the door so they can bring the next one in , truly disappointing for a store so prominent in the bridal industry . If I could give them zero stars I would they are horrible. I had to cancel my wedding due to a world pandemic. This place is giving my bridesmaid a horrible time returning their dresses. They bought their dresses in early March no one knew that this was going to happen. Their receipt says 14 days after receiving order thats the policy they bought their dresses under, they're not letting any of them get their money back. They're very rude and unprofessional stating "we can change the policy whenever we want" .I'm very disappointed and will never recommend to anyone. I was reluctant to try David's Bridal as I have heard of so many terrible experiences there. However, my fiance and I decided to elope and I needed an off the rack dress immediately! I made an appointment and showed up right on time with my entourage of four friends and family members. The receptionist was helpful and kind and checked us in quickly. She called the bridal specialist to come forward to greet us.... This woman introduced ourselves and abruptly asked me a few questions about what I was looking for. ("White or ivory?" to which I responded, "I'm not sure. I'm keeping my options open." She looked at me like I was an alien and then put a note on her clipboard.) She then gave us a 60 second rundown of the size and style organization of dresses in their store and dismissed us to start browsing. After a few minutes we were each loaded down with 2 or 3 gowns and she was nowhere around. My mom went to find her to ask for a fitting room. She opened one, asked my bra size and left for a few minutes while we stood around waiting. she came back with a bra and a bag stuffed with some sort of puffy undergarment which she said I would need with some gowns. She then walked away and we spent the next 20-30 minutes navigating dresses, hangers, undergarments with no guidance from a "professional." After I had tried all of the dresses, I actually had a couple of contenders but I was so frustrated with the service that I wanted to walk out. I got dressed and at that moment the mystery assistant reappeared. She asked if I had found anything I liked. My mom and aunt tried to convey to her some of the opinions we had of some of the dresses. Then the lady actually acted as though I was there to buy a dress and she was there to help. However, she showed me dresses that were unlike anything I had interest in... I wanted strapless and she brought halter, I'm getting married on the beach and she brought dresses with enormous trains... And she did all of this with never a smile, compliment, helpful suggestion. After about thirty more minutes, we decided the ridiculousness was over. As I packed up to leave and she asked if I had found anything I liked. I said I would think about it. She said in a rude tone, "Well, have you found something you liked somewhere else?" I said, "I have a couple of things I like." She replied, "Well good luck with that," as she turned and walked away. I absolutely love my dress! However, I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service. When I went to check out, I asked the cashier, Madison H, if I could sign up and get the $20 off of my dress. She told me that I would have to step out of line and that it was a long process. Since I had already waited more than 15 minutes and there had only been one person in front of me, I decided it was not be worth having to go to the back of the line. Later in the day, my friend decided to purchase the dress she had put on hold, so we came back. The kind lady checking her out immediately explained out the member perk and said it would be a quick process-- only requiring email and phone number. When I told her about my experience earlier in the day, she was shocked and assured me that it was a very short process. I purchased a bridesmaid dress and opted to use alterations (hem and adjustment to a strap) services at David's Bridal in Murfreesboro, TN.Well, when I arrived to retrieve the dress, the split (which is the reason I purchased it) appeared to be in the middle of the dress and it looked different from the initial try on as well as the image online. After speaking with the manager, basically, there's nothing they could do but close the split. Well, I could've purchased a dress that was $100 cheaper if I didn't want the split so that was not a reasonable solution in my opinion. Now, I'm stuck with a $200 dress with $80 worth of alterations that looks nothing like it should. I'm hoping I can find someone to fix this before I leave the country tomorrow.I'll never shop at David's Bridal again! read more

So after giving them another shot I must say, the bridemaids dress fitting was a success althought the lady helping was not much help. She just brought sizes of they styles and pretty much left us alone. NOW, I am upping my stars by 3 simply because my wedding dress shopping experience there was amazing. Ashley K. was the lady who helped us and she was super awesome. First of all, my mouth was super dry for some reason and she offered me a piece of gum. Second of all she was super fast at getting me in and out of dresses I felt like super man walking in and out of the phone booth. She brought me everything I said I was interested in and within 6 dresses I found the one. She then offered for all the bridesmaids to put their dresses on so 1. we can see them together with the dress and 2. so she could get their correct sizes! I totally would pay Ashley K to come to my wedding and help me get dressed she was amazing! She was full of energy and spunk. This particular Sunday they were not crazy busy which I was shocked! Nothing like the last couple of times I have been in there. Checking out was a breeze too. Ashley K got me in the dress I love for the price I love! We decided to try David's bridal one more time. Elizabeth was an angel! My mom and i absolutely loved her. One of the worst shopping experiences in my life. My mother and I are both engaged and I'm getting married in December and she's getting married in April. We decided it would be easier to shop for both our dresses together. The minute we walked into David's bridal we felt so unwelcome and ignored. I'm not sure if they felt upset because we were walk ins or what, but we didn't even get so much as a smile from anyone. When we finally got An attendant we both explained what we wanted. My mother even pointed at a specific dress and said she liked that one. Instead of offering that dress for my mom to try on the attendant completely ignored her and chose a dress that was the exact opposite of what she had said. On top of that after we tried on the dresses the attendant gave us , she didn't even act like she was interested in what we felt about the dresses, didn't ask if we wanted to try something else. She just stared at us and helped other people so half the time I didn't even know where she was. We both felt uncomfortable because her and the other attendants there kept giving us dirty looks. It was an awkward and uncomfortable situation all around. We felt unwelcome and wedding dress shopping is supposed to be a fun thing. It pretty much ruined our day. I'm not asking. For rainbows and unicorns but a smile and listening to what we want would have been nice. read more

If there was an option to leave ZERO stars, I would. I have never been more disappointed and shamed than I have with this company, this store. My best friend of over 10 years got married yesterday and the dress that David's Bridal sold me failed and broke in front of over 100 people during the ceremony. I had problems with this dress from day one. I went to a fitting in store, found an appropriate dress, and size, and had the sales associate order the dress & size she felt appropriate based on what I tried on in store. When my dress came in, I tried it on and the zipper kept jamming. They "fixed" it. And sent me on my way. Even after I stated the dress did not feel like the one I tried on in stores. Not to mention the strings and threads that were hanging all over the dress. One strap was over an INCH longer than the other strap. They refused to ever refund or exchange the dress for a different size or anything unless I bought a more expensive dress or paid more money. I told them that's not an option or acceptable when their associates fitted and ordered the dress for me. During the ceremony the zipper completed came off the track, the same zipper they supposedly fixed when I told them it felt sketchy. The top hook also unraveled and came undone so there was no way to complete the ceremony and I was forced to hide in a closet to put a shirt over my body so my breasts were not exposed to the rest of the world. When I called them RIGHT then, there only response was "we have to see it to believe it." Went in the very next day, and was only offered to be sent to alterations. I was not able to be apart of my BEST FRIENDS special day bc of Davids Bridals carelessness. What good does it do to me have any alterations made to the dress now? Completely unacceptable customer service. I will never again do business with this company, nor will o ever encourage my community to give them their business. $145 down the drain. A life time of embarrassment. I will be Pursuing legal actions for the emotional stress this has caused me. Davids Bridal, you should be ashamed. read more

When I first told someone about dress shopping, her first response was "please tell me we are not going to David's bridal, because they are the worst." But, I went anyway because my fiance and I are planning a small wedding, and I knew their prices would better fit our budget and what I wanted. With that said, I had a great experience there. My consultant, Jenny, was so fantastic! She really listened to what I wanted and was patient, even though I had a big group with me. She picked out a dress for me that ended up being one of my top favorites. I haven't purchased yet, but I look forward to going back and working with her and the rest of the team. read more

We did not have an appointment scheduled, but stopped in and "shimmied" into a few wedding dresses. Savannah made me feel comfortable in my own skin and chose dresses that looked fabulous on me. She also helped narrow down the gowns that I did like, which can sometime get overwhelming with all the choices. Let me start off by saying that when I was trying on wedding dresses and trying to find "the one", David's Bridal was great. My consultants were always very friendly, sweet and helpful. And when I finally found my dress after quite a few visits, they cheered with me and told me how beautiful I looked. Then we came back to pick up the dress. It was like a switch had been flipped. The girl that handed me my dress looked as if it was annoying to want to try on my dress before leaving the store. She opened a dressing room for me and walked off without letting me ask her for at least a bra to put on under it. We had to wait and catch her when she came back through and then she walked off again after giving us the bra. My mother had to help me in and out of the dress. Then we had to order bridesmaid dresses. Most of my girls got their orders in early and I requested that they call instead of email me. The only time they called me was when the last girl's dress came in and it seemed like she wanted me to know that she didn't appreciate having to call me. And on top of all of that half of the bridesmaid dresses had something wrong with them. One dress's zipper gets stuck and another came in two sizes too small. My advice: check everything before you leave the store and be prepared for them to not give a rat's behind about you once they have your money. read more

They sized a white one just right but when he asked for a similar one in black they gave him one 2 sizes smaller. He was told by the manager that they could be exchanged but no returns were allowed. After we got back from vacation I went in to exchange the black one and they refused. The manager refused to come out and talk to me. Plus they accused me of wearing it. I have never dealt with such an inconsiderate and rude salesperson as the male working at David's bridal in Murfreesboro Tn. I had my two granddaughters with me, first and second grade and both very polite and mannerly. We asked to see a flowergirl dress, he looked at my granddaughter and informed us loudly that flower girls are usually babies and they would never have a size 8 or 10 flowergirl dress. I asked if they had anything size 8 or 10 in girls she could try on just to see the size before ordering. He said "no". I asked if they had a bridesmaid dress she could try on in size 10, to get approximate size. He looked at me and said " not in white". I explained I realize that, just wanted to see what size she needs. I did not want to order and then spend a fortune on alterations. The other granddaughter tried on a size 6, which was loose on her. He wanted us to order a size 8. We walked out not ordering anything and felt like it was a waste of time and worse was the insulting comments about a little first grader, who stood there listening to him say she was was to big to be a flower girl. read more

One star is two stars too much. These people are rude, and unprofessional. My fiancé dragged her dress in and spent two hours fitting for a bra, slip, and other accessories. The bra sticks up over two inches above the dress. She never would have noticed, but at the alterations location the people asked her why the bra stuck up so high. Upon asking the employees for a proper fitting bra they said they did not have one. The manager said "we try to train our employees the best we can" meaning we make mistakes, but they only cost you the consumer. When asked for a refund they said all sales are final. So basically if they screw up you pay for it. Avoid this place at all costs. Look online, or find another store with a more customer friendly policy. Said shes waited "way too late" to find a dress. The event is in June. My daughter was told no dresses she liked were available online. My daughter pulled them up on her phone. In the end, I went with a similar dress at another bridal store with a tax free weekend. Adriana was a 5/5 stars! When I went in for my appointment they were friendly, and when they brought my lady to assist me with everything she ran through a quick review of where the dresses I thought I may liked was and told me to pick a few she would come by and pick them up after she got a fitting room fixed up for me, she then proceeded to stuff me in things. I did not like how she didn't ask me a price range, and she was not that friendly of a lady I'd like to have while finding the dress for my big day. I felt they ordered a size up for my daughters wedding dress just so they could charge for alterations. They didn't have a size 2 for her to try on so they ordered a 4. I questioned it that evening and asked why they wouldn't order a 2 and they said they felt it would be too snug so they ordered a 4. We called the next day to see if they could get a 2 in that dress instead and they told us we could drive around to the other David's Bridal and look for one. I decided to have the alterations done elsewhere and give no more money to David's Bridal. It had to be taken it in a CONSIDERABLE amount (1/2 an inch on each side) all the way down to the thigh area which ended up costing more than the dress! The dress was $239 and the alterations were $250! I feel they should have called around to get a 2 in the store for her to try on instead of ordering a 4 for a bride that wears and xs shirt and a 0 jean. read more
