DeAnna who checked me out and said "I'm sorry" ended up calling me the same night and apologized and said they'd put a note on my account that if I needed to return they would accept it because I wasn't told the correct return policy. I go to return my dress today and they have a return policy posted at both cash registers effective the day after I bought my dress LOL. Gotta give an extra star for that one! read more

We were at the store yesterday. I was there with my niece who was looking for a dress. We did not make an appointment. It was a last-minute thing because she had been seeking another dress that she had seen at another location, but that didn't work out. it was only 5 PM. The store closed at six. We just thought we would pop in and take a look around. We're not expecting any special treatment or any appointment type treatment and the first lady who came to US was rather abrupt and not very welcoming We try not to let that bother us and then another nicer sales person told my niece that she could in turn on dresses off of the sales rack so we did that still plenty of time before closing. We're not imposing on anyone and yet the same first lady came back around being more rude Was rather upsetting to both my niece and myself not the experience. I wanted her to have when shopping for anything for her wedding I tried to let it go, but it is still bothering me. You should ask your employees to treat the customers a little nicer and not be so worried that we're gonna stay too late or not buy anything. We actually did buy a dress much as I reluctantly hated to do so after being treated like that no, we didn't spend a ton of money in there We don't a smaller budget, but we're still people and we're still customers. Came in to find a wedding dress and I did but there are some oddities to the appointment experience. They text you multiple times to encourage you to set up favorites online to make the process smoother.... But then they don't pull any of the dresses you have on the list and just say look at the racks and take pictures of the tag. Ended up with a clearance dress so it need some minor repairs and then typical alterations but the price was great. At checkout my associate forgot to ring up the veil we picked so we had to come back in and make a second purchase. Overall there is a lot of lacking and giving limited info. End all be all I'm thankful I found a dress and veil. Oh and it's important to note that for dress try on the associates can no longer assist in the dressing room so make sure to bring a friend! read more

These ladies are FABULOUS!!! I booked an appointment for my daughter for her pageant to check out some undergarments and accessories for her dresses. It was very easy to book an appointment. She worked with Barbara the stylist who helped with her overall looks along with giving her pointers for her interview. When they couldn't find an item that suited my daughter's needs Barbara also offered another solution of having the dresses altered. The alteration team was also very awesome they were able to do the configurations of the dresses within the time frame needed for a minimal fee for rushing. The alterations, the addition of the sash, and undergarments came to $288 and some change. All in all the price was much cheaper than I expected with everything my daughter purchased. Top quality service for all the staff members we interacted with. My daughter's comment when we first arrived was "wow, I totally forgot they sell prom dresses!" My daughter and I went in looking for prom dresses. I don't like shopping for formal wear, or even dresses in general, so going here did not help my anxiety. We walked in without an appointment, so we were left to wander around aimlessly (after a hello and a brief gesture to the side of the store that had the non bridal dresses). There was not much of a system there. The dresses along the wall was sort of grouped by colour. Unfortunately, that was the only sorting system they used. My daughter is a size 2. The dresses were not in any numerical number. It was as if a space was made in the colour group and the dresses were shoved in. It wasted time. The ones on the racks in the middle, good luck. No grouping at all and sizes just put wherever. read more

It was my first time trying on wedding dresses and scheduled an appointment on a Saturday morning which is the busiest time apparently. Walking in, the store was already filled with customers and it was a bit overwhelming. I brought my bridesmaids and matron of honor with me because online it said there was no limit of how many people can come to the appointment and once we got there, there were not enough seats for everyone so some had to stand. The person who helped me right off the bat asked if I had any saved dresses I would have liked to see first- I showed her my list and she pulled at least 4-5 dresses but I had more saved. At the start of my appointment, she said because the store is so busy, she had to take care of me and another person. Once getting my dresses, I wasn't offered any assistance in getting in them, my matron of honor is actually the one who helped me get them off hanger, put them on and take them off and the person who was supposed to help me only collected the dresses back. I did not say yes any dresses at David's Bridal. I don't know if the was the whole experience itself that stopped me from looking but because of the atmosphere, poor customer service, I did not want to spend any more time there. The only positive thing I can say is I was given a free tote bag with 2 aerosol deodorants and hello fresh and Shutterfly discount codes. read more

I bought a mother of the bride dress all tags were on the dress and still could of been sold Better places to shop at 31 days ago but didn't really luv it it was poorly made. I went back to store to return it on the 31st day and they wouldn't take it back for 1 day after the return policy. Very disappointed how an exception could not be made. I bought a beautiful rose gold beaded dress from an outside company. I took it here for alterations and even tho alterations were well done ... they did not do what I wanted! I specifically had a long conversation with them about saving my extra material from the dress. I explained how I will use this for a cultural tradition and they threw it away. Then had the audacity to admit their mistake and at the same time lie about how much material was left...I was there for my fitting and saw where it was cut!!! I'm so disappointed in choosing them for alterations and paying TOP DOLLAR. Only reason I even went here is to ensure it was done properly - saving the material included!!! Should have went to a mom and pop shop..... When I asked what they would do to make it right, the manager said there was nothing that could be done. I'll be contacting corporate!! read more

Purchased a bridesmaid's dress. It was the last in stock, and unable to order another one online. There were a few loose stitches. The person helping us said they'd provide the alteration and steam as a way of compensating for the issues with the dress. Cool. We came back a few weeks later for the alterations appointment to be shown a $100 bill for alterations. We spoke to the manager who said she didn't see any notes of the adjustment, and said they don't typically do anything like that. Never apologized, or acknowledged why we'd be frustrated. Lesson learned -- always get it in writing! lol read more

After my one hour was up I said that I wanted to come back just to make sure I didn't miss anything but my sales person indicated that if she didn't make the sale with her, she would lose the commission totally turned me off I don't need my decision to buy address to be based on who gets the commission I decided to go to the other location. My daughter had an appointment set for Friday, 9/16/22 at the Atlantic Avenue (Regency) store. When we arrived, the place was very busy and there was only one salesperson, Frances, available to help all the brides. Despite the craziness, Frances was amazing -- she's a knowledgeable, kind, friendly and patient person. She was running all over the place trying to help all the brides at the same time (apparently a couple arrived without appointments), but we felt very well taken care of. Frances should be commended for her professionalism under pressure. Her attitude stayed very positive throughout the time we were there. This is my second visit to this location helping a friend find a wedding dress and what an adventure. She made an appointment with a consultant and I'm glad she did. While they weren't that busy it's always better to be safe than sorry. Both times she got someone who's willing to have fun with our crazy selves while she tried on dresses, Lacey the first time and Mel the second. They have an amazing selection of different styles, colors, and sizes with wedding dresses and she probably tried on about 6 or 7 before she fell in love with one. She wasn't completely sold on it so she was notified that she could come back at a later date to try it on again or any of the other ones, which brings us to this visit. The first one she tried on before overruled her previous visit and my bestie was completely sold this time around. I like that while she was trying on dresses we, her bridal audience and very-opinionated friends, had seats around her dressing room that was completely covered in mirrors. We could see her dress from all angles and with the addition of necessary accessories she's going to look like a Queen :) It'll be my turn soon....as a bridesmaid silly! Only because it's a bridal store, I thought I'd stop in for a low plunge, backless bodysuit. They didn't have exactly what I wanted but did have something that could possibly work. When I went to pay, I was refused to purchase anything without providing my first and last name, phone number and email!! I left everything there and said no. I do not want to be added to your spam lists (it's happened in the past and took forever to stop) and I don't want my information sold (I know for a fact they do!). I had a few pictures of things that I liked, but I had to try on what seemed like a parade of dresses before finding MY dress. I of course had Maya and Debbie by my side to help me choose, and I felt they were treated like royalty as well. I thought I had found the right one my first visit, but left thinking about a different dress. We called it "pockets dress" because it did have pockets. I worked with Mel and also Lacey, and they were both amazing and accommodating. During my second time there, I put on that dress that was still in the back of my mind, and..I cried. I knew. The illusion neckline, the lace, the silhouette..it was not only ME, it was exactly what I knew my now husband would love. I had several fittings, an hooouuurrrs long alteration appointment (the layers, the pins, oy!) And also my final pickup. I purchased my veil and accessories for the dress as well as my undergarments right there in store. I will say I might have saved some money on things buying elsewhere, however knowing it all would match and work well together made me feel good. I understand being busy or understaffed but being told "we don't have time right now for you to try on any dresses, just take a photo and look online" was extremely discouraging. The situation could've been handled more delicately by offering to help me make an appointment and return, or come back another time but instead I was hastily told "brown racks are most of our bridal gowns and clearance is on the back". I received excellent service at this particular store location. I originally bought a MOTB dress at a David's Bridal In Vegas. The consultant at the Vegas store advised me on what size to get and placed an order for my dress. When the dress arrived it didn't fit. I brought it in to exchange the dress for a different size but the dress was discontinued. No!!!! It was such an amazing color and style. Oh well, I remained calm and started my search for another dress. Every dress the consultant pulled out for me was either too big or ugly. She was trying her best and showing me dresses that just weren't me. I ended up finding three dresses on my own. I saw the consultant doubting my choices. When I tried the third dress on I knew I had found my new dress. I was ecstatic! It was a dress from the bridesmaids section. It was light weight, flirty and the color I wanted. Perfect for a beach wedding. Another staff member did the exchange for me. It ended up costing me $50 more but I actually liked it better than the first dress I chose. They ordered the new dress for me and it was ready for pickup in less than two weeks. The store was nicely lit and has huge mirrors so you can see yourself at every angle. There are plenty of dresses in all sorts of color and fabric and sizes to chose from. I would totally recommend this store for special occasion dresses. read more
