The bagels are fine but Customer Service is an oxymoron at Davidovich. The checkout process is fraught. If one is not especially alert, an earlier order's shipping address (A gift pack to a friend) e.g. becomes the default address for a new order. Correcting the error is a virtual impossibility. read more

Remember to check in for a free drip coffee (which was surprisingly very tasty). My bf ordered an iced oat milk latte and a cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The total was $10. The latte was pretty good and the bagel was good as well, but nothing special. The cashier was super nice! While visiting the Tenement Museum across the street I saw this place out of the corner of my eye. The window with bagels made me clamor for one and run through traffic to get it. We bought a couple of everything bagels. Since we were getting them to have later we did want a schmear, and they were so accommodating to give us a small container just for the two bagels. Many people always leave the line because they can't get rung up or served fast enough. Sometimes, I just want to tell the workers to move faster since they take their sweet slow time doing things one at a time... don't seem enthusiastic, and chit chat like other reviewers have mentioned. Time to hire new staff. I've worked in service jobs before so I can empathize if you're having one rough day, but for the staff to be this bad every time is not okay. So i left, being approached by a nice person in the street named August, who which convinced me to give it a try. This is my third time in the bakery, the first time (9/4)I ordered an ice coffee and was charged $4 dollar(paid in cash). Second time(9/7) I came in ordered an ice tea and was charged $2.72(paid with debit card). The third time which is today, I went in and ordered an ice tea, expecting to pay the same as before and was told it's $3 cash and was told the credit card machine does not work.
