I was having a normal, room-volume conversation with an elderly veteran when the owner came out and targeted me with a completely fabricated story. She claimed I sit there for "hours," when in reality, I've only used that bench three times ever. She then attempted to gaslight me, claiming my voice was "piercing her ears" and triggering her tinnitus--completely ignoring the loud, laughing family sitting right next to me. To top it off, she told me to "leave her property," despite these being benches on a public-facing tourist street where hundreds of people sit every single day without issue. I spoke with several other shopkeepers in the immediate area afterward, and they were all shocked to hear about her behavior. The shop looks inviting, but it is run by someone who is dishonest, exclusionary, and seemingly looking for reasons to harass people. If you have a service animal or just want to sit for ten minutes without being harassed with made-up stories, go somewhere else. The workers down the road have said she's done this numerous times to families and folks like myself. Complaining that the public irritate her tinnitus. Completely rude woman.

We visited the gallery and fell in love with a piece that we just had to have. We also purchased a book of her paintings called Lahaina Spirit in which a percentage of both would be donated to some of the victims. The book wasn't finished yet but we received it not very long afterwards. It is now our coffee table book. She was so accommodating and definitely did her best working with us. I would absolutely work with her again in the future.

He replied quickly, gave me a quote after I described the area I needed help with, and actually offered me a couple different times to come down and complete our landscaping. He and his crew really saved the day and actually ended up doing a little more work than quoted because they finished our project earlier than expected. Super happy we called Jonathon. He takes the hassle and headache out of the equation and can really give you a final product that you envision.

For 2 wooden door shims installed, and the tiling I asked for wasn't possible to do, I paid nearly $900!!!! $135 per hour and 5 hours time, when Geoff the handyman was in and out under an hour, was driving 1 hour each way which means I was charged 2 hours for a Home Depot run. I contacted Jonathan to complain about the time he had charged but he was rude and kept texting me to the point I refused to answer him anymore as he was starting to harass me. His reply to me below is the tone to expect. I am Yelp Elite. I don't write a bad review just to annoy a local business. I write truthful reviews, I wouldn't be Elite if I didn't. My most recent purchase there was a floor lamp with ceramic pole. I had to replace the lamp socket on it but still a good deal. That's probably why it was donated. Anyway, they usually have a good assortment of light fixtures, tables, chairs and small appliances. The sort of stuff that people upgrade from time to time. They also are a good source of building materials that are left over from jobs the contractors finish. It's hit or miss whether you find the type or quantity of materials you need, but it's still a good place to check if you're about to start a project. We were there recently, to drop off a couple boxes of floor tile and some used copper tubing. I hope someone can use it. There's a small parking lot beside the building. Be really careful there because you might not have much time to react when someone backs out without looking. I had to use my horn, first time in years!

Also tons of art and housewares. Our local family didn't even know this place existed but now that they do, they've told us they will be coming back.
