FYI - it's usually a waste of time to give a lot of extra information. The doctor already takes it in at a glance, given their skill level. However, when it's an emotional issue there can be the tendency to want more time for a listening ear but alas, with a shortage of doctors, they don't have time to indulge that need in this setting. As a psychotherapist I highly recommend getting therapy for extra emotional support. It's why I went into that field after being a RN - I love and value all aspects of health care. The thing to decide is what is realistic for the setting you are in.

Urgent care sends me to ER (after waiting for husband to leave work to drive me) thinking I'm having pre-stroke mini-strokes. Cat scan at ER says no stroke, but I now need an ENT urgent - says ER doctor. Still can't get an appointment, which means no referral, which means more time away from work that I can't afford. Would give 5 stars if doctor was available when needed.

Also I asked for a prescription for a libre patch because I test 4-5 times a day and was denied because she said I wasn't diabetic anymore, hmm if I was to stop my 2 prescriptions for diabetes, i'm sure my A1C would high. Just because it is under control doesn't mean i'm not diabetic, she obviously doesn't know diabetes. I don't think it's her business how I test myself and keep my diabetes under control. Also she messed up my prescription and ordered me the wrong dosage and when I called and left a message, no one got back to me, after a week I had to call again. Terrible doctor and staff.

At this point in my mother's life we are just looking for the best possible treatment for some pain relief to enhancement her daily life that does not include 24/7 pain. She asked what level is your pain, I said 100 out of 1-10, she said, now come on... Like seriously doctor you are worried about her high blood pressure yet chronic pain causes high blood pressure, yet no relief. The doctor said she would proscribe muscle relaxers but she lied, and did not submit them to the pharmacy. I will be submitting a complaint to the medical board, for causing undue pain and suffering to an elderly patient. She refuses to have phone appointments, even though the patient is unable to drive or barely Walk. This doctor should not be practicing. I would not recommend her to my worse enemy.
