Dr Tamburrino totally botched my breast. However, it was his work ethic that pushed me away from him performing further surgeries. I did a lot of research on explant surgery prior to going to our consultation appointment. I knew the explant surgery outcome would put my breast through lots of stress. First, my age 60 years old and second, my implants were in for 20 years. Therefore, I want to make clear that I knew the consequences of how explant surgery would leave my skin and change the appearance of my breast. However, Dr Tamburrino's lack of good work ethic and care during my explant surgery left me no choice but to make the decision to leave his practice. After, surgery my breast, being in state of deformity. Dr Tamburrino had the audacity of referring to them as "Ugly" ; on several occasions. However, It was when he stated that " any women would have to be crazy" (as he pointed to his head with his finger) if they left their breast looking like mine. Was when the decision to leave his practice came to mind. But, I still scheduled last appointment to discuss possible fat grafting. I arrived home heart broken remembering my mother's breast cancer battle and how she was never able to correct them. Fast forward, my last appointment with Dr Tamburrino. My husband and I spoke with the doctor regarding his heartless, hurtful and unethical comments. He denied saying any of those words. While leaving his office he stopped us and offered to pay for the entire fat grafting procedure. We declined and left his office. The office staff, his wife Anna, are caring, informative and friendly. The office is kept clean. But Dr Tamburrino was clearly a disappointment. Today, a year and a half later, I write this review. Because, after two breast reconstructive surgeries with a different Plastic Surgeon. I found a Doctor who not only is dedicated to his work and has great work ethics. He respects me, my feelings and my body.

I am extremely disappointed with both my results and the way my concerns were handled by Dr…read more Chapin. I originally consulted for a thigh revision to correct unevenness. I specifically requested liposuction multiple times, as my previous surgeon included it and it was necessary for symmetry, but Dr. Chapin told me it was not needed. It was not performed, and my thighs show no improvement. The extended incision now protrudes even more than before. I spent $3,500 on the thigh revision with absolutely no positive change. I also only agreed to the upper and lower back lift because Dr. Chapin strongly recommended them, assuring me they would significantly improve my contour. These were not procedures I sought out myself. After spending an additional $12,000, the results are extremely minimal and not at all reflective of what was described to me. What stands out most is how dismissive Dr. Chapin was of my concerns. From my very first follow-up, I expressed dissatisfaction, yet my concerns were brushed aside again and again. At my most recent scheduled appointment--where the office was already 20 minutes behind--I was told Dr. Chapin "didn't have time" to discuss my thigh issues and still perform scar injections, and that I had to pick one. This was a scheduled visit specifically meant to address my post-op needs, and being told there wasn't time to even discuss my concerns was incredibly disrespectful and invalidating. Anytime I pressed for answers or expressed that I was unhappy with the results, I was essentially told there was nothing that could be done and to "be happy with your body." This felt dismissive, minimizing, and completely out of line considering I had been raising the same concerns from the beginning and had invested significant money into procedures that produced little to no improvement. He is incredibly kind and funny, but more importantly he listens to your concerns and talks through everything with you. I told him I was in grad school and I felt like he truly cared - he would ask how it's going at every post-op visit. He's just a good person. On top of that though, he is a fantastic surgeon. My scar is a thin, faded, straight line now one year post op. My belly button looks natural. All of that is notoriously hard to achieve. I am so happy with my results. Dr. Chapin also PAID FOR MY UBER right out of surgery because I came to Doylestown from Philly and he knew I was a rather poor student. He didn't want me to worry about it while I was still groggy from the anesthesia. He is just a gem of a human, and an incredible surgeon. If you're debating on surgeons, I would recommend Dr. Chapin to anyone as a first choice. Lastly, his nurses are wonderful. Last minute I asked Dr Rosen if he would be able to correct my c-section Scar as I had an unsightly over hang. He was so accommodating and they were able to schedule this procedure at the same time. He used his personal phone as a flashlight (multiple times) with his gloves on, dropped a suction tool on the floor and still used it in my sons mouth. He initially planned to perform the procedure without a nurse present - When he decided to get one, he left the room and touched the curtains with the same gloves he used for the procedure. My son has a bleeding disorder requiring medication before procedures, which I clearly told him, but I was brushed off and he proceeded anyway. I've been seeing him for over two years and I'm impressed by his care. He spends a great amount of time explaining kidney issues with his patients. I am a bit concerned with the staff communication. I've been put on two different medications for my Chronic Kidney Disease. Farxiga and Jardiance. In both cases the medicines are very expensive. I required a pre-certification from my insurance (Aetna). Originally I received three weeks of samples of Jardiance after Farxiga did not agree with me. (causing severe pain in my back and groin pain). The staff was extremely stagnant on obtaining the pre-cert. it took me over 2 weeks and numerous calls to the pharmacy, Aetna and the doctors office. Ryan finally took care of this. After final approval for Jardiance it was creating blood in my stool and have been light headed. I've discontinued the use of both these medications. I also tried to make an appointment after the original prescription for Jardiance for a year out as per the doctors instructions. The receptionist informed me "their system doesn't allow them to schedule that far out" I should call back in January of 2026". I found that odd. I believe they may be understaffed, therefore causing some internal issues. I do have concern with one of the staffs performance. I don't know her name. Two weeks trying to get approval and having the paperwork done properly (pre-cert). Thanks to Ryan the process was finally handled quickly. Although I highly recommend the doctor himself there needs to be some updates to their systems and the staff members trainings. If in the hospital and Dr. Vernace is there you are in great hands!
