When I requested a formal non-representation letter to close out our contract, the firm issued a letter claiming that representation was ended due to a lack of communication on my part. This statement is simply untrue. I have emails, phone calls, and text messages that clearly document my prompt and consistent communication throughout the entire process. I find this handling of the situation dishonest and deeply unprofessional. Ending representation for financial reasons is one thing; misrepresenting the reason in writing is another. I would not recommend this firm unless you are prepared to risk being dropped after months of engagement and then blamed for it.

My wife's portion of the case wasn't hard to get max ($350,000) given her injuries; however, my son's emotional trauma was a VERY complex issue given it's not as easy to establish as physical injury. I had never been put in this situation before therefore I didn't know if I was allowed to say anything during court. The attorney didn't so I just assumed I couldn't either. Come to find out later he should have said something or explained to me that maybe I should have interrupted. I didn't know I could interrupt a judge. Long story short I wasn't approved. Months go by and I get the call that it was still denied. He called to tell me that and he was done with the case. I told him I didn't think he represented me to the best of his ability. I said you didn't prepare me for the court case I didn't know what was going on with the job thing. That is when he lied. He tried to say he did. I know he didn't because I called him after court and asked what all that was. I remember his response he didn't think he needed to say I couldn't do those jobs because his little spill before hand said it all. He even says he didn't want to interrupt the judge because he said she kept signing and sounding annoyed that it was taking so long. That was the moment I realized he wasn't a good attorney. He couldn't stand up for his client. But I'm kinda stuck with him. Today speaking to him on the phone I brought all this up again. He said I wasn't remembering correctly. He just kept lying and saying he had told me all this stuff that I was saying he didn't. I even said I'm sure these lines are recorded so maybe someone needs to go listen to them. I told him I wanted to speak with someone over him. He would send a message to him. He said something else i don't remember what it was because he hung up on me. so I waited a few mins and called back to schedule a meeting myself because I do not believe him since he continues to lie. The receptionist transfers me to him where he again hangs up on me. I thought when I went to this Attorneys office I was going to get a professional lawyer. I expected to get the best of the best because the company had been around for a long time. That was not the case. Came in and got handled by this attorney, Christine who barely greeted me before going over the preliminary paperwork, gathering info on what happened. She didn't ask me my name until well into filling the stuff out and had the personality of a rock. I told her I didn't know anything about this process and usually that's a cue to break things down so everyone is on the same page. She was as curt as possible and I left the office with a bad taste in my mouth. I get a welcome packet that stated I should contact the firm when I'm going to a doctor appointment so I call in to let them know. I speak to Christine and say who I am. She immediately tells me that "we've looked at your case and we can't help you." Then literally stopped right there. I'm like um.... can I get some sort of explanation?
