I went into her office due to some sternum pain as well as mid-back pain...when in office, she was able to accurately diagnose the problem based off trigger points and some contextual questions. Dr. Maris set out a three-week plan for adjustments and minor physical therapy to get me healthy. By the time I left her office after my final visit/adjustment, all chest/back pain had disappeared! In addition, it was warming to see that Maris was the first chiropractor to reach out proactively to check-in post visits as well. Mostly minor pains that come with the territory but keeping fresh and healthy has never been easier. The thing I prefer the most is that Dr. Mingoia doesn't claim to be able to cure cancer or mental illness, I've been to places like that before and walked right out when I heard it. He offers chiropractic medicine as a way of simply reliving pain. Simple and Direct. They also offer supplemental therapies at this office. They have a wonderful masseuse that offers full and half hour massages that can work your upper and lower body or pinpoint origin of your muscle pains. They have recently added Acupuncture with Kitak Ryu. He offers traditional acupuncture and related therapies. As of this post I've had 3 sessions with him and he is very thorough. Covering important aspects that in my opinion are necessary of a good acupuncturist he explains, Qi, stagnation of energy and or circulation, among other things.
