From the minute we contacted them to the minute the wedding was complete, Chris and Jason were very helpful and professional. We got multiple feedback from our guest on the attention to details and great sense of photography from Chris! Chris has done an outstanding job organizing and pre-planning the 12-hour schedule for us. His experience and expertise was much appreciated. He was also very accommodative and extremely thorough in both planning and executing the full day of photography. One thing we do regret is not having Chris do our engagement photos, as well, as we are from out of town, so we only were able to have him for our wedding. Highly recommend Chris and Jason for your next event!

So I wanted a photographer that would be able to capture the emotions of my (now) fiancée and the vibe of the moment, but with an artistic touch. I am so happy I found Neil, as the pictures came out exceeding my expectations. Neil is a gifted photographer who is able to use all the elements in the environment to capture beautiful pictures. As we were shooting, I could see him racking up his brain to find the perfect angle and elements in the background for his ideas. He was directing us precisely on how to pose and managed to get us looking really good even though we have no posing experience. Also, I had this whole elaborate plan to surprise my fiancée for the proposal and Neil was very patient and engaged in collaborating with me. Thanks to his willingness to play along, the plan worked out perfectly. It is also interesting to note that during that day, Neil suggested a last minute change in the plan that ended becoming the best decision made. That shows his great creativity and ressourcefulness. All in all, Neil is a talented photographer with a charming personality. Thank you Neil for helping me create this magical moment for my fiancée and me!

Visions By David is a family run business which employs every member of their family, from David…read moreand Marianne to their now adult children; Ryan, Justin, Joel and Desiree. Each of them has their strengths, whether it be photography, video, editing or even a special knack for getting those rare shots from little kids that make family and friends say "awwww", and are an integral part in covering your day or event. I've long admired the work of Visions By David, but assumed that with their level of experience and time in the business that we'd never be able to afford their services when the day came for our special day. Still when it came time to begin having conversations with photographers for our destination wedding in PDC, Mexico we reached out to them anyway to see what, if anything was possible. Meeting with David and Marianne was like meeting with old friends right from the get go, David is the artist and Marianne his director (well sort of, but aren't all wives their husbands directors, haha). We felt super comfortable with them from the get go and when we expressed our concerns about budgets and the like, the told us not to worry and that they would work within our budgets and produce something extra special and memorable. We decided on a photo and video package for the wedding, and in addition to their fees we paid for the travel of 3 team members. While this might sound like a lot, having the team there 24/7 was great as most photographers you would hire for a wedding in Mexico as we found would charge nearly the same but for 4-5 hours of work on the day of - and you have no in person contact with them before arriving on location. They were true professionals, upon arrival they got to work, walking every square inch of the resort (and off) to find ideal locations and then measuring the lighting days in advance at different times of day so they knew exactly what sort of situations they would be dealing with and where would be best for us to get the best pictures. Where their experience showed was in helping us organize our day of photos so that we were able to maximize every instant and capture it all. They planned a full day where they were able to get the guys getting ready and having some fun while the ladies were getting their hair and make up done, then transferring over to the ladies and the eventual first look and group shots before the ceremony and reception. The benefit of having the team there is they all knew what to look for and if a hand or head was misplaced, or people weren't lining up properly you had not 1 but 4 sets of eyes calling details out to ensure every picture was picture perfect. In addition to our wedding, we also planned to do an offsite shoot at a cenote (naturally occurring cave with water in it). Because of their time in the business they knew who to talk to and where to go to ensure this experience was private, special and amazing. While the video does take a bit longer to get done, it should be arriving soon but if it's anything like the pictures we have (over 1000 awesome shots) I know we'll be able to relive the magic of our wedding day for years and years to come. Thank you to David, Marianne, Joel and Desi for helping make our wedding memorable!

They stayed well into the evening and captured all of the moments we wanted and so much more.  We cannot express our gratitude enough - thank you so much M&L, you are an awesome team and we are so glad that we met you and had the pleasure of working with you.
