I received a notice that my card was expiring so I thought I needed to make an appointment. Forgetting that I already had an appointment for October16. I made an appointment on September 5 for Sept 25. I received reminders and the pre in take form from them which I dutifully filled out a week in advance. Still forgetting about Oct 16. I'm human... I arrived at my scheduled time when I was confronted by Santos(owner) wife. She came out to the waiting room with a piece of paper stating I was not suppose to be there until Oct 16. She didn't even say my name. She was shaking as she spoke that I made a big mistake and I should come back in October. Why they could not contact me via phone I can't answer. They waited for me to arrive. I made the appt Sept 5. They had 20 days to straighten things out before I drove to the office. This woman was visually upset with me because I was confused about card expiration and my doctor visits. I'm an elder! I just was very confused at why they could not call me before I got there. Santos, behind the desk, was no better. Apparently the nervous woman is his wife. Whatever, the treatment from the front here is far from COMPASSIONATE! The doctors were always great but these owners are condescending. I made a mistake but I sure should not of been treated in this manner. Bottom line, I'll be transferring to a more compassionate clinic. By the way, they are the most expensive clinic out there. Shop around. There are many nicer clinics out there.

I have a M.Sc. and a PhD and I'm one of those moms that is very thorough when it comes to anything related to my health or that of my family. Irrespective of curricula and experience, a Traditional Chinese Doctor may or may not have the gift of feeling the points and understanding your body in a holistic way. That's a talent one is born with and Dr. D. Eisenman at Holistic Primary Care certainly has that gift. He is extremely knowledgeable as well, and his expertise and knowledge never cease to amaze me -- from every little muscle in your body to physiological and infectious processes, you name it, he is very studied and solid. He combines Thai massage trigger points with Chinese medicine and many other techniques. But going beyond that he has the ability to combine variables and understand what is going on in holistic way. I call him our miracle maker. He can fix whatever problem you have, even when you (or your traditional doctor) do not know what it is. He treats me since I moved to Miami -- for a boost in my defenses, for migraine, for back pain, for the flu every other Dr told you you'll have to be in bed for a week, for exhaustion after a business trip marathon, for thyroid issues, and I could go on and on. He also treats both my kids (8 and 12) and got my son's recurring lung infections to stop and helped my daughter get rid of a calcium deposit (Sever's disease) so that she could do sports again. Without antibiotics. Without albuterol for Asthma. Without cortisone or steroids. Several of my family members were treated here: for high blood pressure, to minimize the effects of Hashimoto's, for their lower back pain due to a damaged disc.
