Maria took the time to thoroughly shop for a new policy and secured one for us quickly. She clearly explained the differences between choosing an out-of-state company versus one regulated by the California State Insurance Commissioner, which made our decision much easier. We truly appreciated her patience and the time she spent guiding us through the process. We came into this situation feeling frustrated and upset after being dropped solely based on our zip code. Maria helped us understand that we weren't alone and that many others in our county were facing the same issue. The level of customer service and care we received meant a great deal to us.

I don't usually write Yelp reviews but am making an exception because of the professionalism,…read morekindness, and compassion that Keith Garlock and his team have shown us over the years. We lost our home and all our possessions in the 2017 Tubbs fire but escaped with our lives. We had been insured with Keith for many years but suddenly realized that who we had as an agent and the company that insured us were going to be of critical importance. We evacuated from the fire in the wee hours of the morning and finally landed at a hotel. That night, out of the blue, my cell phone rang and it was Keith calling us at 8pm. We didn't know yet whether or not we had lost our house but he took the initiative to reach out to us knowing that our home was at risk. He explained in simple language that we had good coverage, gave us his personal cell phone number, and told us to call him directly if we needed anything. I can't explain the sense of relief I had when we received that call of support and reassurance, but I do remember my tears of gratitude when I hung up the phone. The next day we were notified that our home was gone. Keith helped us every step of the way through a long journey that has culminated in the completion of rebuilding a beautiful new home on our property. I would highly recommend him and his organization to anyone who is looking for honesty and integrity in an insurance agent.

Eddie Sandoval State Farm insurance Agency has jeopardized my daughter's home investment instead of…read moreprotecting it, but he gladly took her and her fiancé's money. My daughter and her fiancé recently just bought a house near Eddie Sandoval's State Farm Agency. This young couple were very thorough and had three inspections done including a specific roof inspection (also one done by the seller). Eddie Sandoval State Farm agency took their money for home insurance and neglected to ask if they had roof inspections. Instead they hired someone to drive by to inspect the roof without ever going on the roof. Just weeks after this young couple closed on their home, Eddie's agency said they will stop insuring their home in less than one month if they don't replace their roof, despite this couple having two professional and very recent inspections done; both indicating that the roof has year's of life left. Worse yet, when I spoke to Eddie and his agent, I found both completely in cya mode and lacking any empathy or willingness to even give them more time to sort things out. I have never seen any company treat a paying customer so badly. Shocking. They told me they don't have the authority to help, yet when I called state farm corporate, they told me that the local agency has the most power.

This last tax season they fired my tax preparer who is a family member and locked her out of the office. Now I get a notice that they can't help us this year after a decade of paying them to prepare our taxes. My parents also received the same notification in the mail instead of our annual tax preparation packet because they are too busy to help loyal clients that they screwed over the year before. Not even a phone call, just a letter, sorry, we are too busy to help loyal clients. If they were planning on dropping clients they should have said something after they screwed up last year. It really makes me worry what shady stuff happened and if my prior years were legit or messed up. Definitely a poor handling all the way around. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this one earned less than one star. To not be notified until December that instead of getting a tax prep packet to get a "You have been dropped and need to find a new place is a slap in the face. And there was only one person that called back one time ever, even when calling the main line. Way to take care of a long time client, and drop my entire family. If you were going to drop us we should have been notified after last April when you fired her. That's 8 months of wait to find out that your tax preparers won't be helping you. Highly impersonal service. And that's 8 less months to find a good accountant/CPA.
