Very understanding. Patient with questions. He really cares about his patients. Wish all doctors were as good as him.

A little over a year ago I went to emergency room struggling to breath and a rash that started from…read morea burn . This was on a Saturday. They could not diagnose an asthma exacerbation OR a case of shingles. I walked back out with nothing but a prescription for some cream. I continued to struggle til Monday when I could see my REAL doctor, the pulmonologist . Then today, my pulmonologist sent me to get a nasal swab ( respiratory viral panel) at this hospital. She said to go in admittance, I did. They sent me to ER , I go to ER and they insist on ADMITTING me. OK. So she get vitals and does the swab then tells me to sit back out in the waiting room. I said what for, I just needed a test done, she said you still have to see a doctor. I wait. We are talking about the hospital....................... She comes and gets me and takes me down to the back hall and sits me on a bed , IN THE HALL. When does a doctor come see you IN THE HALL ??? He told them what I had continued to try to tell them. I didn't need admitted, it was just for a test !!!! So I wait longer for them to un-admit me... and wait. Finally someone comes to tell me the nurse was "working on it". WORKING ON WHAT ??? There was nothing to "work on" except the extra work they caused themselves. This has become a totally incompetent hospital. Oh, you thought that I was done...nope. after I finally walked out, they call me and I answer. She said I needed to come back in TO ADMITTANCE so I wouldn't get charged emergency room visit. I'm sick, struggling to breath with every step , mind you. I go back in ADMITTANCE without my paper orders anymore cause the nurse kept it , so I give my name and the long story. She has to get on the phone to find out what's going on and the AGAIN tells me I need to go....nowhere, I'm done with that run around game , where I'm taking my sick self is HOME !!!!

I must admit I am shocked by the behavior of this particular doctor. Be very careful if you chose…read morehim or are just being sent to him. He has a lot of ego and will have preconceived notions about you before he steps into the room. After my experience with him, I am going say he doesn't like overweight or obese people. He talked at us not to us, he wouldn't let my husband or I say anything, he talked above us. I felt like he truly believed I was stupid and didn't understand I was high risk. I am not stupid, my diabetes alone makes me high risk. He first told me to go home and hope the medications worked (I have 2 blockages at 70% and one at 90%). I need triple bypass. Then he said maybe call my cardiologist and ask to be stented when the cath report said I wasn't a candidate for stenting. We tried to rectify the situation but again his ego got in the way and I am guessing he was butt hurt because of my attitude and words. Now none of the doctors in his office will talk to me. Closest surgeon is almost 3 hours away. I have had some out there experiences with different doctors in my life but nothing like this. Please rethink this doctor and anyone associated with him. Because of this we have to move. And honestly I really hope karma pays him a visit!!
