Now, he went in mainly to get his teeth cleaned and when they found out that he hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and that he had a dead wisdom tooth in need of removal, they decided to not only NOT clean his teeth, but give him a laundry list of things they wanted him to come in for which totaled, in 10ish visits, out to about $16,050 or so all the while knowing we don't have insurance. They then scheduled another appointment next day after the original appointment for I don't even remember which of those things on that list they said he needed to come in for. The only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because as far as I was told they did do the X-rays and "exam" which would be looking at the X-rays, asking questions, and telling him what they see and their thoughts. That's about it though. Also when I was talking to the front desk lady about payment for what they did do, she tried to charge about $105, so full price for not even doing the cleaning part, and when I told her I'm not paying full price for them not doing all the work promised by their website, she then told me I could pay $75 instead and I was going to but she made it seem like they'd already charged the $105 to my account so I told her that I couldn't pay both at the same time, only one or the other, but I think she misunderstood what I was trying to say because I probably didn't word it in a way that she could understand so she told me that I didn't need to pay but I couldn't go back, and my thought was that I didn't want to go back if they were just gonna try to take me for all I'm worth again. I live paycheck to paycheck like most do these days and it's hard to fit in important things like health related appointments with what little extra we can spare for them and I was expecting him to go in, get his cleaning and then we pay around $99 and go on our way, but these people decided that they wouldn't make it that easy. I've added pictures for what proof I can give. This was back on June 12th 2025, I've been meaning to review but time got away from me so I'm posting it now that I have a chance while I'm thinking about it. It was a frustrating situation. I know that his teeth need more work but all I asked for was a cleaning. The least they could have done was clean his teeth to the best of their ability and I'd have been fine with that, paid the bill and taken their list into consideration. Plain and simple. After checking in, Alyssa took me to this upright machine to do X-rays. Then we went back for cleaning and more traditional x-rays. The view was really nice, a fountain running in the outdoor space you can see from the chair. Upon arriving to my consult, I had scheduled this appointment about 3 weeks out since it's summer & all of us are out of school + it's the perfect time to get them out. When I arrived, Angela, the front desk person, made the check-in process a breeze -- she had me fill out some paperwork & took care of everything else. After checking in, a nurse came & brought me back to take some x-rays to see how far in my wisdom teeth are coming in... to my surprise, I didn't realize the top 2 were also coming, so that was an interesting time for all of us. After x-rays, she brought me back into the room w/ the dentist chair & asked me a few questions regarding my history -- then we waited for Dr. Urquhart to come. Dr. Urquhart really knows his stuff -- from everything on the consent form he has you sign, to explaining the procedure, to thoughtfully answering any questions you may have... he makes you feel comfortable, safe, & that you're in the right hands. He also writes up your prescription during your consult so you can pick up your prescription prior to your wisdom teeth removal appointment. Fast forward about a month & half, I have just gotten my wisdom teeth out today by Dr. Urquhart & the whole process as explained from the consult was the exact same. Everything went by like a breeze -- he provides you w/ extra gauze just in case & was also nice enough to walk you out to the car too.
