Hired these guys to do a garden makeover. Basically lay stone paving and build some brickwork…read moreplanters. It is a disaster, there is no other way of putting it. The stone slabs have been poorly laid, doesn't drain properly and collects water in large puddles. The pointing on the stone is dreadful, the stone stained with cement. Drains that were laid specifically to collect water off the stone are useless. The whole job took over a month to complete, with guys not turning up, or if they did only for a hour on some days. The finish looks shabby, there is no attention to detail, no care, very little professionalism. The work cost £2000 over the original quote, and is going to cost me at least £2000 to put put right. East Coast Builders will never work on my property again.

I recieved a quote from him which wasn't the cheapest but not over priced either. I thought I would rather not go with someone cheap anyway, as I was more bothered about having the job done properly and you get what you pay for anyway. Kevin took a lot of time and care in decorating my rooms and I can honestly say the quality is faultless. I wouldn't hesitate to use him in future and I have recommended him to others since. He really is a man who takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist who won't finish a job until it is spot on.

Boiler was condemned yesterday by another Plumber which I thought was odd so called Dave for a second opinion as I know he knows his stuff about boilers. Turns out the boiler was fine after a few tweaks by him and safety certificated cert re-issued. Fantastic! Yesterday I was looking at a £2000 bill for a new boiler, which, I really did not want a week after xmas, but ended up costing next to nothing in comparison for the service which he did next day. I know this sounds like an advert but I will be using him from now on. Nice guy too. Paul, York.

We had an unexpected problem in a rental property with a perforated flue-liner,. Three weeks before Xmas is never a good time to have a problem, but Paul Wilson erected scaffolding, removed the torn flue-liner and replaced it, allowing the tenants to have a working wood-stove before Xmas. At the same time, he discovered problems with the adjacent chimney cowl, which he fixed as well. Suffice to say, the tenants were ecstatic and we were very happy.
