BEWARE!!!! I went to Eric stamps because I was concerned that one of my creditors had filed a…read moregarnishment so I weighed my options spoke to Eric at a free consultation on a Saturday. I was scheduled to return on Wednesday at that point I paid 1475 CASH to the receptionist and then went in and spoke to Eric I answered a few questions probably 30 minutes at the most ( he even mentioned how quickly we got through the questions) Later that day I received a call from the creditor and they decided not to garnish so I could save my credit from being damaged for 7 years I believe anyone would have done the same. Thursday morning I called and left a voicemail since the office is closed on Thursday's that I wanted to cancel the bankruptcy before it was even started or my paperwork was reviewed I spoke to Eric and I could tell he wasn't happy but nothing had been done I was quick letting him know I'm talking a matter of a day!! That afternoon I returned to his office to pick up a check for the 1475 I assumed there would be a small charge since he did go over some questions with me. As he handed me the check I noticed it was only for 1125.00 !!!! He took 350.00 of my money because he was mad that I cancelled he didn't do anything to deserve 350.00 I believe that was very unprofessional of Eric Stamps. Please beware of this law firm if they would take 350 from a single mother that only has one income they would take advantage of YOU too. Also the check he gave me was so unprofessional my bank almost didn't cash it it was not printed on the lines and they spelled my last name wrong. Do your research and do not go with the first attorney you find just because they are close to your place of employment!

Even from our initial phone conversation, David was very easy to talk to and super helpful to email me an itemized list of documents to organize my planning at the moment we spoke. I was able to make an appointment on 3/8/2018 and was able to be seen that day. I had to reschedule due to personal issues, but was seen the next day. My appointment lasted 30 minutes, where I was filing out an Ohio and Rhode Island tax return. The tax representatives there were knowledgeable on what needed to be done, clear in explaining my tax return and prepared my return in a timely fashion (very fast).
