I have 3 children age 8 (twins) and 23months old and all 3 of them really like Dr Meckler. Unfortunately due to a condition my twins were born with on there enamel they have had to have crowns fitted on all of there molars and Dr Gary has been great he is reassuring to both my self and the children and accommodating I really cant say enough good things about the experiences my children have had so far. The front staff are wonderful you are greeted with a smile and they do there best to try and accomodate your schedule while booking appointments. The dentistry is one of the Premier places here in Albuquerque, the staff have always been the most patient and friendly people and they will put your children at ease. Out of the 14+ years I've only seen nervous children a couple of times and that was because it was their first time. Dr Meckler knows your child and always is able to relate to them and talk. My children amd I are very happy to have such good people here. I have recommended this office to friends and they are also very satisfied.

My Mother got $12,000 worth of veneers at Dr. Kerschen's office. She was excited about getting…read morethem until the moment she saw them in her mouth and they were stained grayish yellow. She has bad vision and told him she just wanted them to be a pretty white, but not blinding. Dr. Kerschen didn't take the time to show her the proper shades, instead he sent her to the veneer maker and they gave her a limited selection of shades to choose from with little to no direction or consultation based on her wishes. Dr Kerschen completed all the work before giving my mom the opportunity to see the veneers in her mouth. The situation only got worse when she stepped outside and saw how stained they looked. Why would anyone pay $12k for a complete set of stained teeth!? She was upset, but didn't know what to do after her complaints fell on deaf ears. Within a few months three of the veneers fell out on three different occasions, once while vacationing out of state. Dr. Kerschen fixed them and appeared to recognize what a terrible color they were. On the third fix, he told my mom he would replace her set for her with the desired shade of white. My mother was very excited to hear this and did not end up complaining about how unstable the veneers were. Which must have been his goal since he never followed through with his promise. My mother may be elderly, but she has a family who loves her and doesn't appreciate when she is taken advantage of. The entire experience looks a lot like exploitation or opportunism at the least. We would appreciate it if Dr. Kerschen would put the white teeth in her mouth that she wanted and paid for. At this point we would prefer blinding white instead of what she got, coffee stain grey/yellow. How many other mothers has Dr Kerschen treated like this? Trust me, I'd much rather be sending them client recommendations vs a bad Yelp review.

Fantastic children's Dentist. Came in to assess my newborns ties. She had a stage 4 lip tie and a…read morestage 2 tongue tie. The front desk women was kind, helpful and communicative over the phone and in person. We had her lip tie lasered off the same day as the assessment. The doctor was kind, gentle, informative as well as his assistant. I was able to stay with my daughter the entire time and held her hands as the procedure was done. We were given a pamphlet as well as a walk through of how to help heal the lip for aftercare. We decided to do therapy instead of laser off the tongue tie because it was less critical. We were given a recommendation and contact for the therapy. The two week check up was as quick and easy with the same high level of service as the first time. I am very impressed by this business and will be taking my child here until she ages out. Everyone we met with was kind, informative and operating at a highly efficient level. Out of all the doctors we have worked with having a newborn this was the best experience!

I had confirmed to one of the MANY reminders and received a confirmation text that his appointment was indeed confirmed for the time we had set months prior. Yet, the receptionist pointed to a printout on the desk that appointments need to be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance. If that's the case, then state that in one of the 10 texts sent to remind us. They lost my business. I don't have time to drive across town for such poor practice.

I have been anxious to take my children in for their yearly appointment due to COVID. I have been…read moreconsidering changing their dentist for about a year when COVID hit. I decided now was a perfect time to "shop" for dentists and asked many friends and family for recommendations. To be honest Grace Children's Dentistry was not the most recommended, but the recommendations where glowing. I asked specifically about what they where doing with COVID and felt they where taking is very seriously and working hard to protect patients. This was very important to me as one of my children is a higher risk. I went ahead and made appointments for all my kiddos. I was so incredibly pleased that they were able to fit all of them in on the same day. We had to wait a few weeks to have this, but it was worth it! Not everyone is willing or able to do that (I have a lot of kids...don't judge). So armed with plenty of hand sanitizer and face masks we where off! Once you arrive you have to call before entering to ensure there are not too many people inside. The waiting room was nice and comfortable. The office staff was very helpful. They put all of us at ease about what they are doing to ensure limited exposure. Face masks are required by all. Hand sanitizer provided. Temperature checks before being allowed back to exam rooms. One of my kids is extremely anxious and scared of the dentist. I am not kidding. Imagine trying to clean the teeth of someone who is sobbing and refusing to open their mouth. I informed them immediately of this and they went out of their way to put her at ease. Explained everything, spoke in soothing words, let her know before they did anything, and gave constant reassurances. She was still nervous and tense, but this was the first visit where she did not need to be sedated for a simple cleaning. I do not believe we have ever had such a gentle, compassionate, thorough, and peaceful dental visit. Usually I'm even in tears by the time we leave. We have been back twice for some other procedures needed and every single time I feel confident that my kids will receive the best care and compassion. My kids love them. They do amazing work and I just can't say enough how calming the entire visits are. This is huge for any parent who has a child afraid of the dentist.

We were very happy with each phase of our first day with this company. They set us up with their 1st available appointment that was over a month out, but put us on a call earlier list if there is a cancellation. This was great for us, because as retirees we could be available at a days notice. Both of us got calls to come in earlier than our scheduled appointments. Front desk staff were very efficient at processing Maggie & I as 1st time patients. The dental team makes the 1st appointment 2hrs long to do a very thorough exam. They want your input to get your level of involvement in the dental care process. The equipment they have is top of the industry standard. It gives the patient a good view of dental issues, allowing a more knowledgeable choice by patient & Dentist. We never felt pressured to additional care that wasn't truly required at the present time. We were given a break down priority list of items needed & told they would work with us on payment steps based on the priority list. Even given discounts on how payments can be made. I see them on Monday for 1st step in fixing some of my issues. We highly recommend this Dental Care Family
